ACT I: Last time on Galaxy Task Force ASTRORANGER: "Tortan was equally matched by EarthAstro, which is predominately a human being," Ginara complained. "We must delete this addition to Astroranger task force before she learns too much. Being inexperienced, she is no threat now, however soon, EarthAstro will cause too many problems." At the fitness center in downtown Los Angeles, Cyborg Morpher II, posing as an adult human female, stalked Beverly as Pleadia had planned... In the alley beside the fitness center, Beverly stood soaking wet in a bath towel looking around to make sure the coast was clear while putting her ring back on. "I don't know what kind of sick person you are, but as soon as I get my hand cuffs, I'm taking you in for assaulting a police officer and indecent exposure!" She just crossed her arms and became a two-dimensional silhouette of static when the so-called human returned to its original state--Cyborg Morpher II. Beverly transformed into EarthAstro and did battle but she was surrounded by Armaton soldiers. Cyborg Morpher II gave the signal to the five Armatons standing in line aiming their rifles. EarthAstro turned to see them start firing. Several towers of sparks exploded around EarthAstro and off her uniform as EarthAstro hollered. Twisting around, she fell backwards into the clouds of white smoke. Meanwhile, the legend of the Solar Spheres and the Infinitum Genesis Ring becomes the object of The Nazitan's primary mission. "In different dimensions on each planet, there lies the solar sphere that created the planet. It rises to the surface when the planet has finished being born," Majute said. "If these solar spheres are re-assembled, the power of whatever encountered the sun to create the planets will be yours to use in any weapon against the Astrorangers and anything and anyone else with the intent to stop you." Soon enough, Commander Leto is informed by the Uton Defense Department of the Continental Government that a cyborg is on Uranus. "The only reason The Nazitans would be on an uninhabited planet like Uranus in the dimension they are in is to obviously find those fragments," Nashiran said. "Why didn't we know they were on Uranus?" "Because they went to Uranus--our computers never alerted us because we are only monitoring Earth," Messuta said. "But we have to move quickly. If those fragments they called the Solar Spheres exist and are even as remotely powerful as the legend says, they will be unstoppable." The Astroranger task force went on the journey for the planet Uranus once they learned from Australis what was at stake but encountered a horrible monster of a cyborg. Cyborg Hunter stood up and pitched a baseball into the air and swung its bat to knock the ball away. Repeating this a couple of more times; the sky was soon raining down with explosive baseballs. All five Astrorangers were bombarded by balls bursting into sparks on their suits knocking them down. Episode 29: "Stand!! EarthAstro's Gigantic Robot!" The opal sphere remained in synchronized orbit of Earth's moon while onboard the SpaceBase, Messuta played back footage of the battle for Australis and Sheratan to study. Meanwhile, Lotia came out of another room and walked into the main chamber up to Commander Leto. Sheratan broke away to stand where see Lotia. "How's Nashiran?" "He's fine; just cuts and bruises," Lotia replied. "What have you found out?" "According to Australis, this cyborg is making extensive use of skills from a human that was probably quite good at baseball," Sheratan answered. "I guess all the other cyborgs just weren't very good at anything and relied totally on super strength and powerful weapons." Lotia nodded. "The combination of weapons with skill and strength is quite difficult to beat. You haven't found anything that could defeat the cyborg for now, right?" Commander Leto nodded and looked at a slow-motion picture on the main screen. "Messuta is right now trying to figure out what its armor is made of to make it take shots from our weapons so well." Sheratan looked at the screen curiously. "It's only going to be a matter of time before the cyborg finds the Solar Sphere." On the roof of the fitness center in downtown Los Angeles--EarthAstro, (Beverly in her yellow Astroranger uniform), hit Armaton soldier after soldier with her Celestial Weapons--the yellow Lightning Daggers. Sparks blasted from their titanium bodies and when the smoke cleared, the half dozen that attacked were on the ground smoking. Cyborg Morpher II looked at all the Armatons that were destroyed and then at her who dusted off her hands and crossed her arms. "Bring more of them, I don't care--you're only delaying the inevitable," EarthAstro said. "I'm never giving up." The Armatons soldiers still standing were reluctant to attack so Cyborg Morpher II flexed its arms. On its feet, spikes became its toes. More metal spikes ringed each of its brass knuckles. Meanwhile, its white flexi-skin re-molded itself to have two cones on its shoulders while turbines for a jet pack grew out of its back. ``Damn cheater,'' she thought. Swinging her arms through the air, EarthAstro wrapped her hands around the holster on the left side of her belt and drew the weapon. "Moleculatom Dagger!!" EarthAstro shouted when twirling it upside down in her right hand and used her left to form the blade. ``Yes!!'' she thought as she'd made it happen like she'd seen so many times before in the news. Cautiously, both Cyborg Morpher II and EarthAstro walked sideways in a circle while the Armatons watched. Morpher II stopped and had its fists up to attack. EarthAstro also stopped to assume her battle pose and charged after the cyborg. Sparks shot out of Morpher II's abs when EarthAstro ran by cutting through. The yellow Astroranger turned around and put her Moleculatom Dagger on its shoulder. Pulling down, the blade put another gash in the cyborg's skin. Suddenly, the burnt, smoking portions of Morpher II's white vinyl skin liquefied and re-solidified itself to look like new. Jumping back, EarthAstro reacted with shock that lost her concentration. "That's impossible!" With spiked toes, Cyborg Morpher II kicked her shoulder sparking off her durable uniform. Morpher turned around and kicked across her chest resulting in the same blast but EarthAstro held on. "Let's see how you like it!" She used her dagger to thrust forward but suddenly the cyborg's body lifted up into the air. In the sky--Morpher II was flying forth using the dual turbines on its back. "Hey! What the??" exclaimed EarthAstro. Kicking forth, Morpher II flew in and knocked EarthAstro down with a blast of sparks from the metal spikes on its feet. "Hugh!" EarthAstro hit the ground and rolled over then looking at the cyborg. "Man, I wish the others were here! I don't know how to deal with this!" Cyborg Morpher II landed and aimed its fists. EarthAstro got up and ran after the cyborg. "Hurricane Kick!" She tried a hurricane kicked however it ducked and punched her in the chest with its spike covered fists. EarthAstro's uniform again sparked off from the brass-knuckles that pounded her breast bone as she stumbled back again. "Ogh!" Morpher II took two steps forth and stopped to cross its arms; the cones on its shoulders came down and shot cyan beams of light from the cone holes. EarthAstro hollered as towers of explosive sparks surrounded her and bounced off her yellow uniform. Eventually, she fell backwards into the cloud of smoke. Under the freezing surface of Pluto, Adol nodded and smiled at what Cyborg Morpher II did to EarthAstro. "Yes--this is more like it. I knew that she was no match for even one of Pleadia's cyborgs, being a mere human." "Pleadia has reported Cyborg Hunter has forced the Astroranger task force to retreat," Igan reported. "Hunter has resumed its search." "And?" Adol asked. "Did it find the Solar Sphere?" Igan shook his head. "No, and I don't think the Astroranger team will stay away forever." "Agreed, inform Ginara I want her to lead a gang of Armatons to Earth to keep the Astrorangers busy until Hunter is done on Uranus," Adol ordered. "The Astrorangers will never leave Earth just to stop us out of spite or otherwise." "What if they know about the Solar Spheres?" Igan asked. Adol laughed. "It doesn't matter. They can send one or two of their colorful team away from Earth to try and stop Hunter and Ginara all at the same time. However, once that Cyborg has that sphere, they don't stand a chance." Meanwhile, at the SpaceBase--A station on the right side of the primary chamber was occupied by Messuta and Sheratan who looked at graphics on screen. It was a computer generated image of the mercury PowerStaff. Sitting at the console, Commander Leto typed at the terminal. "There is a chance that using this cyborg's weapons against itself will work." Messuta watched a window open on screen showing Hunter and its armor with a cut-away diagram of its baseball. "By pitching or batting back its explosive baseballs with the PowerStaff, that could take it down a notch so you can commence termination." Messuta nodded with satisfaction. "It's worth a try." "I'm gonna go see if Nashiran is ready to go," Sheratan said as he left. "Okay," Messuta replied. Columns of red hues tinted white walls red as a sharp alarm had sounded. Australis up to the main console below the main screen and manipulated the controls. He looked up and saw an overhead shot of Ginara and Armatons messing up traffic near Beverly Hills. "Why traffic??" Lotia asked. "This is, like, the second time!" "It's probably a distraction but they aren't play-acting," Australis replied. "Although, they might think that the Earth Solar Sphere is where they are now." Sheratan walked Nashiran into the chamber and watched the action on the screen. "Sheratan, you and Messuta stay here when we locate Hunter," Commander Leto said. "Your shuttles are the fastest and you'll need to get there before that cyborg gets the solar sphere." Messuta nodded affirmatively. "Hey are you ready for this, Nash?" Sheratan asked. Nashiran nodded. "Let's go everybody," Australis called out. "ChangeForm!" Lotia and Nashiran brought up their right fists showing their GeneGem rings. "AstroCharge!" The Armatons ran through the intersection of Wilshire and La Cienega while Ginara supervised. Watching as they shot out parked cars' windows and cut down light polls which bashed in a LADOT DASH shuttle bus. Police cars rolled along the street to the scene, but came not to try and stop the aliens but to prevent more traffic from arriving. Ginara was satisfied with how everything happened; suddenly, she looked into the sky. There, three HydroCycles banked around in a circle while landing. "Heh-heh, right on schedule," Ginara said. The Astrorangers landed in single formation as their wings retracted as rear-wheel guards. Ginara ran up to them as they all dismounted after parking. "Astrorangers! How nice of you to join us," Ginara said. SaturnAstro took out his Moleculatom Weapon. "Let's just get this over with, Ginara!" VenusAstro nodded in agreement. "Why are you in such a rush, black Astroranger?" Ginara asked while walking forth. "Do you have somewhere else better to go?" The Astrorangers paused. "Well, I'm going to see to it that you five aren't going anywhere for a while now. Armatons! Wage your assault." The black robotic soldiers charged... "Let's make this quick guys," VenusAstro said. The others nodded in agreement. "Galaxy Task Force..." they all shouted going into position. "ASTRORANGER!" And with that, they too ran into the street. VenusAstro jumped over a low spin-kick, blocked its swinging fist and counter-punched the Armaton's abs and then its forehead. VenusAstro pulled another Armaton over her back and assumed her liberty scales battle position. Meanwhile--SaturnAstro dodged a roundhouse kick and used the Saturn Ring Kick to roundhouse the Armaton making it flip over. Another Armaton running in was kicked in the head by the black Astroranger's shin knocking it backwards. SaturnAstro ducked another kick and tornado kicked it into falling down into the bushes. JupiterAstro pulled up his knee to block a side kick. The green Astroranger locked arms and knee-kicked the Armaton in the ribs. He karate-chopped its shoulder making it fall against the curb. An Armaton tried to punch SaturnAstro but his Saturn Ring Kick knocked the soldier's fist away. SaturnAstro struck with his Moleculatom Dagger and the blast of sparks knocking down the Armaton soldier. VenusAstro repeated high spin-kicks knocking away the blades of several Armaton's bladed rifles. In front of a high-rise building, an Armaton plunged out of the sky with its rifle aimed. The pink Astroranger pushed the Armaton over her head; the robot smashed back-first into a lamp post upside down. VenusAstro held on to an Armaton's rifle with both hands and knee-kicked it. It held on even after being kicked by her shin. Eventually, she swung her arm around to knock the rifle up. VenusAstro upper-cut punched the Armaton in the abs and then karate chopped its shoulder causing it to fall to into the sidewalk and roll down the driveway A soldier ducked JupiterAstro's roundhouse kick but the Armaton caught the green Astroranger's tornado kick with its face. The Armaton hit the roadway as another one jumped off a fire hydrant and over its body while running after JupiterAstro; he assumed his battle pose. "Jupiter Great Red-Spot kick!" he shouted jumping into the air. Like the turbulent air mass of Jupiter's red spot, the green Astroranger flew out of the sky sideways with a cork-screw kick. The Armaton was kicked in the chest; in the sky, it flew backwards at high velocity. Against a telephone poll, the soldiers body smashed apart instantaneously leaving almost nothing behind. Ginara somersaulted overhead and out of sight; VenusAstro turned around but was caught off guard when her shiny pink uniform burst with sparked when Ginara used her saber while landing. She turned around and cut past VenusAstro's flank causing sparks to blast from the friction against her uniform. "Ginara took Lotia down!" JupiterAstro announced. "Let's go!" Both JupiterAstro and SaturnAstro shin-kicked towards Ginara. She blocked both boots and turned around to kick JupiterAstro down. The black Astroranger Saturn Ring Kicked towards Ginara. She ducked and lashed him with her saber. The explosive force of sparks blew him down to roll away. Ginara turned around suddenly to see VenusAstro flying forth with her Moleculatom dagger aimed. "Get back, pink Astroranger." She touched her tiara making her eyes glow bright yellow. The tiara's jewel fired a beam into the air. In the sky, sparks exploded from the pink Astroranger's uniform as she free-fell out of mid-air. JupiterAstro high kicked an Armaton in the abs and turned to check VenusAstro after hearing scream from taking a hit. "Lotia!!" "I'm okay, Aus! Celestial Weapon!!" VenusAstro called out as it materialized in her hand. "SonicBoomerang!" She tossed it and Ginara was knocked off her feet by the boomerang striking her chest causing sparks to break out out of the armor plating. VenusAstro caught the boomerang and charged after her in the intersection. SaturnAstro shook his head and stood up to see her running in. "Lotia! No!" VenusAstro tumbled past Ginara and got up to turn around, clashing Boomerang to Ginara's saber, Ginara turned around and kicked VenusAstro's weapon away and struck the pink Astroranger's uniform left and right causing sparks to burst twice. The last blow knocked her off her feet. "Lotia!!" JupiterAstro said. "Moleculatom Weapon!" he said drawing the weapon from the holster on his belt. "Fire!" A beam of electric blue pulsed after Ginara. She rolled over as his shot produced a tower of sparks on the gutter behind her. Ginara's eyes became bright yellow when she touched her tiara. The jewel in her tiara fired a green beam in counter attack. JupiterAstro was lifted off his feet by the explosive force of sparks with white smoke following. "When will you realize you are no match for me!" she rhetorically asked while drawing her shuriken (ninja star-shaped darts) and tossed them into the air. They rained down on the Astrorangers as their uniforms burst with sparks and fell down into the street. ACT II: Meanwhile in outer space, onboard the SpaceBase orbiting Earth's moon--the two Astrorangers, Sheratan and Messuta stayed behind while Commander Leto stood waiting at the communications console, one of the stations along the right wall when suddenly a slot started slowly ejecting paper line by line. Messuta stood around looking when he blinked. "Paper??" "Printing hard copies saves on system resources, using the computer to scan on a distant planet like Uranus is very taxing," Commander Leto answered when he was interrupted by an alarm. "Ah, good! The computer has found the cyborg." "Let's hope it didn't find the Solar Sphere," Sheratan said. "Messuta?" He shook his head, "It didn't but it's way too close for comfort now. Taking the margin of error into consideration, the cyborg is less than eight minutes away by foot from what has been identified as a significant source of energy." "We gotta move!" Sheratan said but he stopped himself. "Wait a minute, where is Beverly?" "I don't know, but I guess she's on duty--otherwise, she'd be helping out the other three on Earth," Messuta replied. "Anyway, we've got no time to wait." Sheratan sighed. "I hope so. ChangeForm!" he shouted with his fist up. Messuta put up his fist with his diamond GeneGem ring. "AstroCharge!" In a flash of light, the five Astrorangers were riding seats inside of tubes. In the zero-gravity take-off bay at the bottom of the SpaceBase, the air-pressure force field activated in the take-off bay as the bay doors began to open. MercuryAstro had been placed inside of his cockpit and the lights came on. In CombatShuttle, MarsAstro pushed up the slider on his console. "Take off!" The TurboShuttle's rocket boosters fired up. Inside of the TurboShuttle cockpit, MercuryAstro's head was pressed back against his seat's headboard. In outer space, the two AstroShuttles had left the take-off bay as the SpaceBase became invisible again. On the roof of the fitness center in downtown Los Angeles--EarthAstro had a hand over her chest while catching her breath; Cyborg Morpher II walked ever closer to the yellow Astroranger. She pulled herself off her knee and pointed to the monster. "It's going to take a whole lot more than your heavy metal to splatter me all over this place!!" Morpher II took out the silver belt around its waist allowing it to unravel into a long whip. Almost instantly, it began its choke hold on EarthAstro's neck as she tried to pry it off. "Stop!! Stop it, you horrible monster!" she gasped. EarthAstro's fist then held one of her LightningDaggers (and discovered she could just think and they would come). EarthAstro took her yellow dagger and cut the silver metal which was around her neck. Sparks burst from the cut end of the strap as it dropped to the rooftop and jumped around like a snake with its head cut off. Suddenly, stopped. It re-shaped itself into a sword that Cyborg Morpher II held. "This just keeps getting better," EarthAstro sarcastically said to herself. Cyborg Morpher II and EarthAstro clicked blades twice in the air as she tried to hurricane kick Morpher II. It ducked and lashed down against her uniform. Morpher II's jet pack boosted the cyborg upwards. "Not again!" she said. The cyborg's swung forward with its legs kicking on approach. Sparks broke out of EarthAstro's shoulder on impact lifting her into the air. In the sky, the yellow Astroranger flew backwards and over the side of the building! Her white gloved hand caught onto the guard rail of the roof as she looked up and strained. "Oh, what the hell have I gotten myself into!" Morpher II stood over her as its hand reshaped itself into tube which would no doubt be a weapon for EarthAstro's end. "I wonder how it will like it in the face..." she asked herself while drawing her Moleculatom Blaster. An electric blue beam had zapped Cyborg Morpher II's face as it stumbled backwards smoking. EarthAstro put her feet on the wall and then pushed off again causing her to flip over the guard rail and back onto the roof. The face of Cyborg Morpher II was the only part of its body that it could not heal through shape shifting as it stood smoking with a horribly disfigured face. EarthAstro appeared before the symbol of Earth upon a black background. She held her arms out in a T-formation holding her Lightning Daggers. "TwinSword Terra Power!" Lightning transformed her daggers into two-swords and posed with them. She ran after the white monster and lashed down with the left and then with the right sword as she turned around and used both to slash its abs. Sparks bursting from each blow caused it to smoke even more. EarthAstro was too busy trying to save her life and everybody elses to be impress that the technique Sheratan showed her had worked. "TwinSword Earth Sabers!" EarthAstro called out as lightning energized her swords again causing them to become laser-light blades. "Solar Light Strike!" she said jumping into the air. In the sky, EarthAstro's swords of laser light cut down and through the body of Cyborg Morpher II as the tips of her swords were stuck out of its back. EarthAstro's two swords returned to dagger form and glowing cracks traveled the length of the cyborg's body. She watched as the monster had began stumbling backwards while smoking until it fell over the rooftop guard rail. Its stiff body fell into the back lot and exploded into a ball of fire when it hit the pavement. The yellow Astroranger ran up to the guard rail and looked at the flaming carcass below. "Another one bites the dust. Agh!!" Suddenly, EarthAstro received a stabbing feeling in her heart that caused her to breath deeply. It wasn't quite adrenalin--it was a sense that somebody was in serious danger. She felt like she had to follow the source of this feeling and turned around. "Galaxy Task Force Command: HydroCycles Ignition!" In the sky, white clouds parted as a disc shape saucer became visible. The underside door opened as Yellow HydroCycle rolled out into the sky. Air-jets on the rear-wheel guards lowered and extend to form wings and flew around. She jumped into the air. Somersaulting over, she landed on the seat of her bike and headed north. Beverly's sixth sense had been amplified by her genesis gem. Returning to the swamplands of the jungle in the fourth dimension of Uranus where lies somewhere in the muddy waters the solar sphere, Cyborg Hunter worked hard to walk through the rugged forestry. Suddenly, it looked up and saw, over his head were the red and white Astroranger somersaulting out of sight. Landing, they assumed their individual battle positions. "ASTRORANGER!" Cyborg Hunter took a baseball and pitched it at them. Both leaping through the air, a bright flash of sparks exploded, leaving behind a white cloud of smoke. MercuryAstro tumbled over and stood up. "Hermes Winged Ankles!" MercuryAstro said as he jumped up. "Foot Punches!" In the air, he kicked Cyborg Hunter in the chest twice from each foot alternately causing them both to fall down and roll away. MercuryAstro back flipped and assumed his crescent arm-position. Hunter stood again and fired from its face cannon and MercuryAstro's white AstroSuit burst of sparks from the hit. "Messuta!" MarsAstro reacted. On the ground, MercuryAstro breathed heavily. "Never mind me, Sher! Just get the sphere!" MarsAstro nodded and ran through the jungle but in a bush not too far away, a lone vine came streaming out of the plant. The red Astroranger had turned his head to find out what that noise was. "Huh?" Suddenly, MarsAstro's torso was wrapped up by the thick plant. "Hey! This thing wont let me go!" The slithering planets on the trunks of trees had just leaped off the bark. They hovered in front of the red Astroranger, growing like cobras. "Aw man, I hope these aren't man eating plants are something." He was right though, as it began to move forth. At an intersection in Los Angeles, the Armatons surrounded the Astroranger task force. Ginara looked at them all lying on the street and laughed. "You three are pathetic! I would have thought the rest would have come save your pitiful lives, however, you have proven yourselves to be no challenge for me." "Don't be so sure of yourself, Ginara," VenusAstro said. "History has a way of repeating itself." "Ah, but, pink Astroranger--I have already won," Ginara said. "Armatons, open fire!" The soldiers raised their rifles... A white gloved fist jabbed an Armaton in the stomach, another Armaton was punched across the face. A boot knocked a rifle out of an Armatons hands. Another soldier was kicked in the chest. VenusAstro got up. "EarthAstro!" The yellow Astroranger tore through the crowd of Armatons with flying kicks. She low spin-kicked one into tripping over, high-kicked on into flipping over and punched one back into the crowd. EarthAstro then karate chopped one on the shoulder and it fell to the street. "YOU!" Ginara said to Beverly's mind. "No! YOU'RE supposed to be dead!" "So you're the bitch that sent that thing after me!" EarthAstro said. "I did _not_ like that!" SaturnAstro turned his head. "What `thing'?" EarthAstro looked at the others. "I'll explain it on the way home." At the Nazitan Outpost beneath the surface of Pluto--Adol stood up and looked at his crystal ball and sighed. Pleadia and Igan looked fearfully. "My--GREATEST warriors... _Burnt to a crisp_!!" Adol said. "Tortan!" "Yes sire..." he said with his head bowed. "Get on Uranus, get the Solar Sphere and get out of there to bring it here," Adol commanded. "Is that simple enough? Now go! Now! Do it!" Tortan moved out of the chamber. "Right now, I will annihilate these annoying Astrorangers! They can't form AstroMan missing half the team." Adol took his pinwheel wand and waved it over the gray globe. "Ginara, by the power of Lord Vahora, let your strength one hundred fold! Bring your size to one thousand fold! GROW!! My warrior--GROW!" The pinwheel on his wand showered the image of Ginara. "Say your prayers, fools," Ginara said. In the city, she was inundated with energy particles as his limbs and body rapidly grew in size. Moments later, she had become Titan-Ginara! "Holy crap!!!" EarthAstro said. "What in the hell are we going to do now!?" "Call your AstroShuttle!!" SaturnAstro said. "Remember the first (and last) thing I ever taught you?" She nodded. "Okay, here goes... Galaxy Task Force Command: AstroShuttle!" The floating AirShuttle was anchored beside the Astroranger SpaceBase orbiting the moon in space. It had detached it's chain link to the station and engaged its engines as the jet plane-like space craft blasted off to Earth. On Earth--Ginara marched ever closer as the Astrorangers had scrambled from side to side to spread out and keep from all getting crushed at once. In the sky, the 40-foot long yellow jet craft flew downward at maximum velocity. "Okay, now how do I get onboard this thing??" EarthAstro said. "No wait, I remember! Here I go!" She crossed her arms and became a glowing sphere of yellow light and floated towards the cockpit. Inside, she materialized in her seat and uncrossed her arms to assume control of a steering wheel and stick shift. "Woah, that was wierd. HEY! This isn't like they said this would be!" The cockpit was completely different from what Nashiran had showed her a diagram of. "Oh great!" Titan-Ginara stepped forth and laughed. "You are too amusing to kill but you've insulted me so you will perish like the others will. And, I will eliminate _you_ first because my cyborg did not." "Take your best shot, alien mutant," EarthAstro replied. "I'm not the type of person to give up when somebody's trying to take me down." "Suit yourself!" Titan-Ginara told her while touching her tiara. Her eyes began to glow bright yellow as several bolts of light were fired from the jewel centered in the Tiara. An invisible dome of light was illuminated by the photon bursts. EarthAstro experienced incredible turbulence while flying. "Gotta get away from this!" She turned the steering wheel and pulled the altitude lever back. AirShuttle turned off while flying upwards. "Whew! Hey, this thing is just like the arcades!" Titan-Ginara looked at her fly around. "You will not escape, human!" EarthAstro shook her head in disbelief over her perseverance when she noticed a lever on the right wall opposite the AstroMan lever she did know about. "What does this do?" she asked while pulling it. Her altitude climbed dramatically. The afterburners became robot legs as the wings turned upside down. The main body of the jet unfolded to become robot arms. The nose of the jet craft came down to form the chest as the head ascended where the cockpit was. EarthRobo landed feet first on the ground and assumed the "T" battle position. "Woah! I didn't know it could do that!" VenusAstro said while looking at it. JupiterAstro shook his head. "Me neither!" EarthAstro looked around inside of her cockpit and noticing the console had changed configuration. "Oh nice, just when I was getting used to the first one I hardly understood." Strangely, however, she had an intuitive sense of how to operate EarthRobo, her 40-meter tall yellow robotic guardian. "Not another one!" Titan-Ginara said. "Well! I'm personally going to put a stop to this." Metallic fins ejected from her wrist guards while approaching. Titan-Ginara karate chopped against EarthRobo but it's fist swung up and knock her arm upwards. EarthRobo punched her chest twice causing two blasts of sparks to blow from her armor. Titan-Ginara jabbed back with her fist causing EarthRobo to stumble back. EarthAstro was rocked inside of her cockpit. "Hey! Watch it!" EarthRobo got up its fist and, like a train, drove it into Titan-Ginara. She knocked its fist away and returned a punch causing sparks to explode from its chest. Smoke cleared while EarthRobo and Titan-Ginara traded positions. She karate-chopped down again and EarthRobo kicked her arm up. The fins of Titan-Ginara's other wrist-guard cut against the yellow robot's armor causing sparks to burst. The explosion of sparks left behind a cloud of smoke in front of the cockpit which jolted EarthAstro in her seat. "Okay, let's see what this robot can do!" EarthRobo was armed with the yellow celestial weapons EarthAstro used, the LightningDaggers--except these were giant sized. Horizontally, Titan-Ginara karate chopped against EarthRobo but the daggers blocked her wrist-guards. She used her other arm to knock away the yellow daggers. Titan-Ginara's first arm cut across EarthRobo's chest and sparks broke out from the strike. EarthRobo attacked with one dagger but she punched its fist away. Titan-Ginara turned around to kick away EarthRobo's fist holding the other dagger. With her wrist guards, Titan-Ginara used both arms to strike the giant robot. Its armor plating blasted of sparks from the blow. "Greetings from the Nazitans," Titan-Ginara said as she put out both her hands as her finger tips produced arcs of electricity that danced all over EarthRobo's body. Sparks broke out from every area of its chassis as it began to fall. Meanwhile on Uranus--Cyborg Hunter pitched a baseball at MercuryAstro. He caught it with his hand and pitched it back. A tower of sparks exploded before itself but stepped through the white cloud of smoke to pitch another ball. MercuryAstro jumped into the air; in the sky, he caught the ball and upon landing, he jammed it down Cyborg Hunter's cannon barrel mouth and leaped away. Suddenly, its face cannon shot out a blast of sparks but in the wrong way. It had destroyed many electronic components because from its point of view, static distorted its optical sensors. MarsAstro was carried in the air, being crushed by the vine. "Argh!!" It swung his body through the sky, banging him up against a tree and then pulling him back up into the sky again where another vine cracked off his uniform like a whip causing sparks to burst from the blow. "This is too much! Moleculatom Weapon!" he said pulling out the device in his belt's holster. "Fire!!" A blue beam of electricity was fired ahead causing sparks to hit the vine with a head like a snake. "Dagger mode!" he shouted when holding the same weapon with now a blade on the other end. Sparks exploded on every part of his body where there was a vine holding him. He free fell out of the tree-leaf covered sky, hitting the soil. When he stood up, something pushed its way underground. He turned and saw it leap out of the black soil. More plants entangled his legs. "Celestial Weapon!" MarsAstro shouted. "FireSword!" The plant was cut up by the blade of his red sword as fragments hit the dirt like links of sausage. "Finally! Now to get that sphere," the red Astroranger declared as he walked between trees. Moving towards the gray waters where the sphere was located, a blast of sparks knocked him down. Pulling himself up again, the MarsAstro shook his head to regain his senses when he looked up to see Tortan standing with the sphere in hand. "I should've known you were going to show up." "That's right, but don't worry, I won't be here for very long," Tortan said. MarsAstro stood up, reaching out while running after him. "Come back here with that!" Tortan stepped back and stabbed the ground with his sword. Suddenly, a quadruple tower of sparks shot up from the soil and in a puff of smoke he'd disappeared. MarsAstro ran past where he was and then turned around to look at the swamp. "Damn it! That was _way_ too easy!" Elsewhere, Cyborg Hunter regained control. "Celestial Weapon--PowerStaff!" MercuryAstro said as arcs of lightning materialized the staff within his fists. Cyborg Hunter pitched one more ball at the white Astroranger and he swung his staff and hit the ball back at the cyborg. It put its hands in front of itself to shield itself from the ball. The ball exploded on impact against Cyborg Hunter's chest shield and hit the swamp water. In front of the symbol of mercury against a black backdrop, MercuryAstro twirled his Power Staff in his hands and then lifted it to the sky as clouds gathered and formed lightning. The Power Staff became brilliant with electricity as he aimed it for his target. "Power Staff Whirlpool!" MercuryAstro shouted as he twirled the weapon, gaining so much speed it became a disc. The white Astroranger tossed it into the sky. Flying after the cyborg, it blasted through it's center like lightning. Gutted and burnt, Cyborg Hunter had rays of light beam out of areas across parts of its body as it fell forth and burst into flames. MarsAstro ran down the hill to join the white Astroranger, breathing heavily from the fight. MercuryAstro looked at him. "Hey, Sheratan--did you get it?" "NO--Tortan showed up, knocked me out and took it before I had a chance." "Oh, Leto isn't gonna like this!" MercuryAstro said. "Come on, let's get out of here. I bet the others are having just as much luck as we've had." MarsAstro nodded. "Yeah I know--let's move." In Beverly Hills at the intersection of Wilshire and La Cienega, EarthRobo blocked a shin-kick from Titan-Ginara. She punched in as the tall yellow robot knocked her arm upwards and jabbed her in the chest. Forced back by the sparks, she tried a high spin-kick but EarthRobo ducked and punched her across the face knocking her back. Titan-Ginara tumbled down the street past a building. JupiterAstro with the two Astrorangers had cheered for their new yellow Astroranger. "Yeah, Beverly! You can do it!" VenusAstro called out. "Take her out!" EarthRobo looked down on the ground; inside of the cockpit, EarthAstro had nodded and gave a thumbs up while looking at her friends below. "Thank you for the confidence--I couldn't have done it without you." Titan-Ginara nodded. "I know, and I will be waiting. When you're alone, you watch your back, yellow Astroranger. We're not threw with you--or the rest of your task force." She vanished a mysteriously as she'd arrived. Meanwhile, on top of the EarthRobo's head, EarthAstro stood on top of it and looked down at her friends on the ground, all with their fists up in pride. She bowed her head in gratitude for their assistance and then looked out over the Los Angeles basin while standing atop EarthRobo's head. In the residential area of Koreatown, there was a small white house with a a blue minivan parked on the driveway. Inside of the house, the ceiling fans ran at top speed in the living room as Sasha walked in only in an oversized dress shirt. Holding a cup of ice tea, she sat down on the couch and watched the news. "...causing temperatures around the southland to increase to the 90s and lower 100s in the valley..." The doorbell ran and she put her drink down. "Just a second," Sasha said. Walking over to the door, she looked through the peep hole and then opened the door. "Hey, Beverly." "Hi.. I came to see how you were," she'd asked. "Where are your parents?" "I'm not sure--they left the minivan here so maybe they've gone to the park?" Sasha frowned. "I'm not sure why they would _want_ to go out after what went on today. In fact, I was worried about you too because I saw police out there when that giant alien was and I was scared you were there." "Oh don't worry about me," Beverly replied. "I can take care of myself." "I know--but I still worry," Sasha insisted. "When I came home, I hurried up and called Linda because I wanted to make sure she was all right." On the TV, the anchor reappeared on screen. "Following up on our headline story today, again--an apparently new member of the Astroranger team has appeared in the city while warding off the aliens that repeatedly come to this city," he announced. "Now, Detective Frank Mahoney of the LAPD's Parker Center met with reporters this evening regarding the scene in Beverly Hills." Beverly watched the television as film footage of Frank walking among a huge crowd of reporters and camera men. "This is no UFO tabloid trash we're dealing with here. They mean business and after having had personal contact with them, I can be sure of it. If anybody thinks this is some kind of hoax, they have to be brain de..." "What happened to that guy?" Sasha asked. Beverly rolled her eyes while thinking quickly. "Well, I hear at the department he was captured by one of those aliens but I don't know much else." "That's pretty unbelievable but after these past couple of days, it's hard to believe anything anymore," Sasha said. Beverly nodded and grinned. "That is for sure." TO BE CONTINUED Next week on Galaxy Task Force Astroranger. . . Uranus is the target for the next Solar Sphere to be obtained by Ginara while Cyborg Arctic prevents any resistance from the Astroranger task force.
