ACT I: A Metro bus leaves the corner of Vermont Avenue as it proceeds westbound on Beverly Boulevard. Inside, people put in cash, dropped tokens and coins into the fare box and showed the driver their bus passes. One man stopped to ask her, "Oh by the way, what line is this?" "14, sir," Linda replied. She pulled down the gooseneck microphone and turned it on. "Next stop: Normandie Avenue." On the bench seat opposite the operator platform was Beverly looking out of the dome window while riding the GMC bus. "So, anyway, like you were saying?" Linda continued. Beverly nodded. "Yes, I'm finally glad I was able to meet you. It's pretty unlikely I'd run into you given all the hundreds of routes and thousands of busses there are." Linda nodded while stopping again. "Indeed. So how come you're taking the bus? Sasha mentioned you drive, Beverly." "I've had a friend of mine take it to the car wash but I still needed to go out anyway so here I am," Beverly answered. "I see, so how is it?" Linda opened the door while more passengers boarded. "Riding the bus?" Beverly asked--Linda nodded yes. "Well, it's rather nice being able to ride without worrying about traffic." Linda nodded. "Yeah, you're right; Sasha constantly worries about me working for MTA driving the bus. Primarily because of all the crazy people out here in the city." Beverly nodded back. "She would, she is your sister, Linda." "Right," Linda replied. "Next stop Western." The bus stopped at the intersection. Out of the trees, Armatons jumped on top the bus. Onboard, the thump caused Beverly to turn her head around. "What was that?" Passengers boarding finally took their seats and the bus went back into motion. Linda pulled the bus away from the corner. "I'm not sure, Beverly, it could be the shocks, I'll have the diesel mechanic take a loo..." Before Linda could finish her sentence, the sound of metal twisting was piercing through the noise of the rattling bus frame. On the bus roof, the Armaton soldiers held on while they tore off the ventilation hatch lids. The fore-most lid was pulled off and discarded as one jumped inside. In the aisle, black android soldiers dropped in and ran after Linda. "What the??" she exclaimed while looking in the mirror. Soon enough, two Armatons dragged her off her seat and carried her away. Beverly stood up but Armatons attempted to restrain her too. Meanwhile, the bus began to swerve recklessly through traffic while horns honked. The bus was losing speed but still rolling fast enough to pass out of the left turn lane and over the double yellow line facing oncoming traffic. Beverly leaned back into the Armaton holding her arms and used both feet to push the Armaton soldier holding Linda into the stair well. She managed to hit the floor of the bus to avoid more soldiers. Beverly shoved her elbow backwards into the soldier holding her and turned around to ram an Armaton's head into a pole. It dropped to the floor as Beverly turned her head. Her eyes grew wide when she saw a semi-truck headed their weay. "Oh shoot!" Beverly shouted while leaping into bus seat. She grabbed the huge steering wheel and pulled off to the right. The two vehicles narrowly averted a head-on collision as the semi rolled onto the pavement and crashing through a light poll. Meanwhile, the bus returned to its originating lane. Beverly made a hard right which caused the rear-wheels to roll over the curb. Pedestrians in the cross walk ran for their lives as the Line 14 bus turned north on Van Ness Avenue. The brakes began squealing from the bus slowing down. Onboard, screaming terrified passengers were jerked forth when the bus stopped. Beverly looked to her left to see the silver handle that controlled the door and pulled it. The air pressure pushed the doors open again and Beverly pulled down the microphone. "Everybody! This is Officer Tenmei, please exit the bus through the FRONT door only! This is an emergency." Linda ran up to the seat where Beverly had crawled out of the booth. "Do you think you can take it from here?" Beverly asked. Four soldiers on the bus shook their heads and stood up. Linda nodded. "Yeah... WHAT's going on??" Beverly ran down the bus. "I'm not sure, I'll find out soon enough." Linda got in her seat and engaged the emergency lights and headboard display urging to call 911--meanwhile, she got on the radio phone to dispatch. Side kicking one into the back seat and another onto the floor she punched ahead and then pulled her elbow back in the opposite direction knocking out all four Armatons. Beverly grabbed the red hammer and bashed in the glass to pull the red handle and open the back door. She pulled opened the emergency latch on the window and crawled out. The Armatons chased her as she'd suspected. It was _obvious_ that she was being stalked yet again by the Nazitans. Armatons ran after Beverly and she assumed her unique battle position before attacking. One Armaton soldier upper-cut punched Beverly and she caught its fist and flipped it over onto the the ground. In two full rotations, Beverly rounhoused the fist of an Armaton and tornado kicked it down. Meanwhile, a black robot with green lines resembling circuit board print on its armor hid in an alley watchin. Cyborg Najire's metallic silver face featured sculpted lips, and glowing yellow eyes. This cyborg was programmed to find and do what it could not possibly do to any other Astroranger; Beverly was Human and thus vulnerable to his spell. Najire moved into view. Beverly came out of a somersaulted onto her feet and karate chopped the back of a black soldier's neck, causing it to flip over onto its back. She turned around and saw Cyborg Najire. "I should have known! Ginara is probably behind this; she seems to be very fond of having you mindless robots come after me." Beverly ran after the robot but it held up its hands. Its palms featured a swirling rainbow of light. Beverly was stopped instantly when light glowing ray of light reached her eyes. "What is this?? What are you doing?!" Najire's eyes started glowing as the cyborg fed her thoughts. "Stop it! What are you doing to me??" Beverly's psychological defenses were no match for the intrusion of Najire's intense power. She could not even close her eyes to random letters of the alphabet in the ray of light entering. Beverly fell to one knee while holding her head. "No, you can't do this!! Stop it! Stop--uhh..." She was down on the gravel in the alley while Cyborg Najire continued its thought control. Beverly knew her mind was being forced to think differently and tried to hold onto who she was but it became too late. Episode 32: "Betrayal! EarthAstro's Diabolical Attack" In the dark regions of outer space, Pluto maintained its distant orbit while beneath the surface was the Nazitan outpost. Inside, many chambers existed and in one of the rooms were Pleadia's workshop across from his laboratory. Here, he sat upon his stool at the 3-dimensional holographic display console--at this workstation, Pleadia controlled Cyborg Najire and Igan entered the room. "Yes, I have finally done it," Pleadia cheered. "The opportunities with having a remote controlled Astroranger are here!" Igan chuckled. "Why didn't you just make another Cyborg Morpher to pretend to be an Astroranger?" "Igan, do you have any idea how difficult it is to formulate a Morpher cybo egg??" Pleadia raved. "It isn't just your average gene merger. Cyborg Morpher construction is unbelievably expensive and I try to avoid using them when not necessary." "So why were there two of them so far?" Igan asked. "Because... They were more useful than most cyborgs. However, this is even better," Pleadia explained. "A disposable cybernetic creature is something the Astrorangers don't care about but they wont be so quick to kill one of their own which will be their failing. This will be the opportunity for EarthAstro to wage her assault." Pleadia looked on a monitor in the wall showing specs for his cybernetic creation. "There is no way possible for any human to break Najire's spell as long as it is alive." Igan nodded. "I see, but what if the Astrorangers discover that fact?" "They wont--Cyborg Najire is hidden. I also sent Cyborg Saw to Saturn ahead of time to dig in the depths of its eighth dimensional level and obtain the next solar sphere," Pleadia told him. "The Astrorangers will run away to try and fight Saw and keep it away. However, I doubt they will be able to." "Oh? And why is that?" Pleadia grinned. "I don't think EarthAstro will leave anything behind when I have Cyborg Najire order her to kill them all." In Culver City, Tom's black truck drives up to the curb by the sidewalk with a walkway leading to a small house. It was a green neighborhood with lots of plants and fresh air to accompany the less urban feeling to the town. Tom walked down the walkway, towards the house in his brown boots, jeans and black dress shirt. Looking in the yard, the grass did not need as much trimming as he'd been told and there was not a serious problem with weeds. In fact, it was quite beautiful, with flowers by the porch he just stepped on. Tom pushed the doorbell which sounded the two chimes. Moments later, the door opened and a young caucasian woman with long black hair looked up to see him standing there. Tom looked at a piece of paper and then at her. "Hi, is Sara Bergstrom here?" "Yes, you're Thomas Nevison, right?" she asked. Tom nodded with his usual business-like seriousness. "Yes, Miss Bergstrom." "Come in, please," Sara requested and Tom walked inside. It was a small house on the inside as well; single story, two full bedrooms, maybe one and a half baths, a small piano against the wall--a couple's house. Sara herself couldn't have been any older than 27 years old. In denim shorts, she walked towards the nicely arranged kitchen and turned around to look at him. "Would you like anything to drink?" "No, thanks, Miss Bergstrom" Tom replied. She continued walking barefoot onto the vinyl floor where she got a can of root beer. "Call me Sara." Returning she approached the plush couches and sat down. "Have a seat." "Thanks," Tom replied while sitting down. "Uh, Sara--I saw your property and I am a little curious about why you told me your lawn was in worse condition than it actually is in." Sara looked down and smiled. "I am not surprised you would be. I hope you don't mind me calling you here--what ever you do, I will pay you for it." "Rest assured, Sara, I usually make time for any clients that call me for my services. You needn't exaggerate the conditions of your garden." Tom hoped he hadn't come off too harsh by saying this and then wondered why he cared. "I understand. However, my reasons for having you make extra time for my house is not because of problems with it, but because of my problems." Tom sighed quietly. ``Why me,'' he thought. "Problems?" he asked. "Do you remember your work on reviving the garden of Debbie Rossmore's house in Glendale?" Sara asked. "Vaguely," Tom remembered. "What about it?" "She's my best friend and we often talk about everything, so eventually she mentioned that she recently had her lawn taken cared of by you and thought that I need a guy like you..." "...too take care of your slightly un-trim bushes?" Tom finished for her. "Hahahahahaha!" she laughed. "Okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves here, um. Hehe." Tom didn't get it. "Okay," she briefly exhaled. "This is kinda hard but let me try to explain it. See, I live in a house because me and my husband Ryan moved out of our apartment in Queens, New York. We divorced about eight and a half months ago for various reasons and unfortunately I'm too busy working as a computer programmer to date so I..." "Ho-ho-hold a minute here," Tom interrupted. "What does this have to do with me?" "Tom, Ryan doesn't live here anymore and there's nothing to do at nights or in the weekends because I don't know anybody other than Debbie and my other friend Megan," Sara explained. "And both of them agree that if I don't do something about that, I'm gonna go out of my mind so... I thought that you could help me." Tom froze from the lack of knowing what to say at this point. Saturn--the eighth dimension; here the yellow sky was covered with big green clouds while on the ground, the land was spotted with craters of varying sizes and depths. Small lakes of fire circled the flat lands of rock to maintain some sort of ecological balance in this bizarre environment. There was nothing but this to see for miles around as every horizon looked the same. A humanoid creature with a razor-bladed disc mounted on its back, circular saws on its shoulders and arms with a yellow construction hat shaped head scanned the region. Cyborg Saw was looking for an area to plant an explosive charge. Saw, wearing a toolbelt that held a power-drill on the right, removed two red sticks from the belt. The cyborg was about to snap the sticks to engage the fuse but suddenly a rumbling shook the ground and it looked up and around. Another step caused the ground to shake again when there was a powerful roar. Cyborg Saw identified the source of it. There was a bear-like creature made of pure sand that moved like a ghost towards itself; the sand in the ground solidified itself coming out of camouflage mode. Speaking its own language, one of the sand creatures began to point. "We are the guardians of this territory! Be gone, intruder, or face the consequences of death." Saw did not understand and had no capability to learn as it went into battle mode. The two sand monsters slid over and began to grow legs as they walked forth. Cyborg Saw fired two saws from its mouth; the metal discs passed through their bodies but nothing happened. It jerked back in surprise; it took a blowtorch from its utility belt and started firing napalm against the sand men. They were beginning to slow down even more and crystallized while they reached several hundred degrees fahrenheit. Eventually, they were nothing but crystallized bodies of glass and Cyborg Saw took the circular saw disc from its back and flung it at them. After the saw burst through both of them, they had disintegrated into bits of glass dust on the ground. South of Los Felix Boulevard in Los Angeles, the Terranian household was occupied by only one person with his red car parked outside. Inside, Dave had his keys in hand while walking towards the front door when suddenly it was knocked on from the outside. Shrugging, he pulled it open and saw Beverly standing there in a yellow t-shirt and a plaid skirt. "Hey, Beverly," Dave said with a big smile. "Didn't expect to see you here." "Can I come in?" Beverly asked innocently. "I walked a while and I'd like to take a load off." Dave nodded and allowed her pass through as he shut the door. "Sure! Sure, no problem. I heard about your car, that's too bad." He put it keys away. Beverly stepped out of her sandals and looked at Dave. "Going somewhere?" "Yeah," he replied while nodding. "I was just heading over to a jewelry shop. I had some extra money in the bank so I figured I'd put it to some use and buy something that I think somebody would like." Beverly silently locked the door. "Somebody?" "Amy. Yeah, I figured I might as well play it her way and get her a ring," Dave answered with a smile. Then grinning, Dave said, "No offense to you, but I think Amy is really getting into this human way of life." The knowledge that Beverly had was instantly accessed by the programming that the cyborg had installed within her mind. This information will be used to my advantage, Beverly thought. "That's incredible, Dave; I never would've thought..." Dave chuckled. "Yeah, I know. It's kind of amazing but I'm willing to give it a shot if she's willing. Who knows what will grow between us, you know?" Beverly walked over to Dave. "No--I mean... I never would have thought--you would have given up on me." Dave was confused. "What?" "Please, Dave--you know what I am saying to you," Beverly insisted. "I know how you felt about me and what you wanted." "Beverly, why are you saying this? You should be happy for me." She stepped closer to him and looked into his eyes. "I am happy--that you're happy, but, I think that you could be happier. Settling isn't..." "Wait a minute, Bev. Please don't think I'm trying to be mean by saying this, but, you're the one who told me that it wouldn't work out and I accepted that. And part of accepting life is to move on; what did you think I would do? Keep on going after you and tearing myself apart in the process?" Beverly looked down. "You're right, Dave, and I am sorry for that, but--you have to understand that I was uncertain. I didn't realize whether or not I was ready for a relationship like this." She looked at him again. "I'd just gotten used to being with Sasha." Dave shrugged impatiently. "So what is the problem!?" "The problem is, now that I know that you and MarsAstro are one in the same, I want to be with you," Beverly declared, "maybe as well as with Sasha. All I know is--I want you." Dave was confused and frustrated too; why now does she, all of a sudden, come to this realization? He sighed and frowned. "God, I hate my life." He turned around, walked over to the wall opposite the couch and leaned over the fire place. Beverly returned to him. "Dave, please; don't say that..." "Beverly," Dave moaned with aggravation, "you haven't any idea of what all of this has put me through, you know? But it's worse then that; I not only have my feelings to take into consideration here, but there's Amy. I mean, damn it, she is your younger half-sister. How could you do this to her?" Beverly looked at Dave with the object of convincing him. "People don't give you enough credit for your intelligence; you can think of something to tell..." "...to tell Amy what?" he concluded. "Say `Turns out Beverly wants me after all, but thanks anyway?' Bev--she loves me. I can't play with that as if her feelings are trivial." Dave turned to face Beverly as he consoled her by rubbing her shoulders. "I'm sorry, you--you missed the train on this one. You'll have to wait for somebody else or better yet... Stick with Sasha." "Dave.. I know you're trying to do what is best for Amy but, Dave, you can't deny what's in your heart," Beverly said to him looking into his eyes. "Can you really say, honestly, that you actually love Amy?" Dave was uncertain, his union with Amy was too sudden to be real; he wished he could have diligently said yes. Beverly would see right through me, he thought. Beverly stood on her toes, put her arms around his neck and kissed his lips. Dave felt almost no joy as guilt poured into his mind. Dave pulled away and sighed painfully. Beverly looked him with concern. "What's the matter?" "Beverly, I can't..." Dave said. He whispered, "I can't do this to Amy," but Beverly talked over him. "You're an honorable man but you can't deny that you loved me before." Dave's breathing got heavier and his heart pulsed strongly. "You probably still do." And with that--she returned to kissing him strongly and deeply. Dave gave in to her seduction, peaking his arousal grew--his mind agonized over what he was doing but he has always wanted Beverly and kissed her actively. A fiendish grin came over Beverly's face while, behind Dave's back, her hand held a black micro chip. She pushed into the small of his back. "AH!!" he shouted when instantly falling into her arms. "What was that??" Beverly threw him against the couch. "Preparation for a surprise for Amy; and without the leader, the Astrorangers will not be as strong as they could be." Dave was paralyzed from the neck down. "Beverly, what are you doing? Why!?" "Now that you can't resist, my advances will have the effect it should have on you," Beverly gloated while slowly taking steps to his immobilized body. "What are you going to do to me?? What've you done?!" Dave asked. Beverly stood on her knees and began to unbuckle Dave's belt. "Oh, it isn't permanent, but when Amy sees the evidence of what I am about to do--it will be rather long lasting. Much better than just simply killing you." "Beverly, I trusted you! What's wrong with you?" he asked. Beverly finished removing his jeans and pulled on his boxer shorts. "(Oh no...) Bev, come on; you can't do this to me!!" he shouted while perspiring. "Yes I can," Beverly replied. "I can do this and then some," she countered leaning her head downward. Dave felt her hands around himself and started breathing heavily again when he started to feel her lips. He took a gulp and tried to lift his arms again but they were like trying to lift a mountain. Dave's eyes fell shut while she lifted her head up to look at him. Beverly grinned fiendishly. "Feels good, doesn't it." "(Tom was right, humans can't be trusted,)" Dave gasped. Beverly stood up and Dave's eyes followed her up as she tore open a tiny plastic package. "Just relax and enjoy, I know I will." His eyes remained focused on her while she bent down to affix an object to himself. Dave watched intently as she stood again and lifted her skirt. Climbing over his lap, she descended... "No! Please--stop. You can't..." he was trying to say. Dave already felt Beverly on himself and began to lose the power to resist. While she stimulated his innate biological reactions, she took the opportunity to slip off his ruby GeneGem ring. Dave began to lose consciousness as she continued her movements. ACT II: Will's Toyota minivan rolled down the residential street leading to their house; Inside Ron and Amy were being driven home by Will. "Thanks for picking me up from work, Will," Ron said. "I know you and Amy usually use this time to go grocery shopping so I appreciate the lift." "No problem, I..." Will tried to say when suddenly a blast of sparks burst in front of his minivan. Will clenched his teeth. "Hang on!!" The vehicle made a hard left but more sparks kept exploding around the van. "Who's doing that?!" Ron asked while trying to hold on. "I don't know!" Will replied. The minivan finally made another right turn down another residential street and avoided the shots. The van finally stopped as the side door opened; Amy jumped out of the minivan and ran down the sidewalk near where they'd somehow parked. "What the hell did that?" Amy asked. In the sunny clear blue sky, the yellow Astroranger sailed with her legs crossed overhead and out of sight. Landing in the street, she turned around and looked at them all. Ron was about to run forth and attack but Will held out his arm. "Wait a minute, this could be a trap. For all we know, this is a fake." With the sky above her and sun behind her helmet, the shiny yellow Astroranger's feet stood together while her hands were on her hips. "A fake? I don't think so, JupiterAstro," EarthAstro interjected. "I am the genuine article!" EarthAstro took the Moleculatom weapon from the holster on her belt above her skirt and aimed it. "Duck!" Will pushed Amy down into the grass. EarthAstro pushed the button on the remote-control like weapon before an electric blue beam that zapped the yellow fire hydrant blew sparks off its metal surface. Ron rolled clear of the smoke and got up on one knee. "What the hell are you doing?!" "You should AstroCharge and protect yourself, Astrorangers. You're not going to last very long like this." Under the electrical cable from the power poll above, Amy stood up and pointed bravely. "I don't know who the hell you are, but Beverly would never attack us! You..." "I did something you never did!" EarthAstro replied while putting away her weapon. "And, I'm rather proud to say I was his first." In Amy's face, her eyes looked sternly at her. "What are you talking about?" "Dave's, how shall I say, inexperience is gone with the wind." Will gasped. How would she know that?? he thought. Next to Will, Amy shouted, "What?? You're lying to me! You're a damn lie!!" Ahead of the three standing on the street, the yellow Astroranger held the chin of her helmet. "I just might spare you to let you see for yourself. I'm sure he enjoyed it, little sister. He was like a fountain of yout..." Amy's head was pointed to the street while shaking it. "No, no! This isn't true, I don't believe you," Amy denied. "This is a lie!" Beside her, Will stepped forth. "Why are you doing this?" Behind the profile of EarthAstro were a fenced off power generators, reminding her of just that--power. "It's pretty obvious the Nazitans are going to win, it's only a matter of time," EarthAstro answered. She looked into the sky with her fist clenched. "As we speak, they are getting the solar sphere on Saturn. Bringing them that much closer to their success." Beside Will, Ron looked at him and said, "If that is Beverly in there; they have definitely gotten to her, BIG TIME. What are we gonna do?" His head immediately shifted his eyes to the side. "Try to call Dave's pager or cell phone," Will answered. "Amy and I will deal with Beverly." Ron nodded and ran off. "Chit chat time is over; soon you will be at peace," EarthAstro said running after them. Will and Amy stood ready. On the street below, EarthAstro hurricane kicked at Will and he ducked and blocked a punch but she low spin-kicked him into flipping over onto his back. "Beverly, snap out of it!" Amy pleaded; she turned around and kicked EarthAstro's fist away and locked arms. The yellow Astroranger broke the lock and punched Amy several times in the stomach and then kicked her away. Amy tumbled over rolled up against the curb. On his bed, Dave layed under a blanket in his room with all of his clothes on the floor beside the bed. In the pants, a beeping emanated from his pager, but Dave was unable to respond because he was unconscious. Meanwhile, in the street a couple of blocks away from the Terranians' house--EarthAstro punched and kicked and punched Will several times until she elbow-pounded Will's back forcing him to fall. EarthAstro kicked Amy's hands away and elbow-punched Amy in the stomach and punched her away as well. On the sidewalk, Ron ran back to the other two and saw them try to get up. Amy held her stomach with her arm while Will tried to stand up with blood in the corner of his lip. "Oh no! Are you you two okay?" Amy was bruised but still able to fight. "Never mind! Where's Dave??" "I don't know, he didn't answer," Ron reported. "Any luck here?" Will looked at him and shook his head. "No. I wish we didn't have to do this but we've got to ChangeForm..." The other two brought up their right fists as the diamond and zircon GeneGem rings started glowing. "Ready!" they announced. "AstroCharge!" Will shouted. Within three flashes of light from their rings, the green, white and pink Astrorangers appeared ready on the corner in front of the back of Will's Toyota minivan. EarthAstro fisted her palm while looking at them sideways. "Finally, a challenge!" Before assuming her battle pose, the yellow Astroranger charged. EarthAstro tumbled under MercuryAstro's high kick and came up to slap down VenusAstro's high kick and roundhoused the pink Astroranger into flipping over onto the street. The yellow Astroranger turned around and blocked a front kick from JupiterAstro and punched him down into the gutter. EarthAstro ducked a high spinning kick from MercuryAstro and tornado kicked him into flipping over onto his back on the sidewalk grass. "Moleculatom Weapon!" she shouted while drawing her hip-mounted weapon. "Dagger mode!" The other three also drew their weapons, JupiterAstro led the other two after the yellow Astroranger. JupiterAstro's blade clashed with EarthAstro's Lightning Dagger, her strike forcing him to stumble past her. VenusAstro jumped in but EarthAstro sliced the pink Astroranger's uniform and the blast of sparks forced her to flip over onto a driveway. JupiterAstro came back and EarthAstro used her dagger to knock his weapon off aim. The green Astroranger was distracted by a roundhouse kick EarthAstro threw at him so he ducked not seeing her dagger slicing against his uniform. Sparks that broke out of his uniform from the strike had thrust him backwards. JupiterAstro hit the intersection gutter and rolled to a stop while the others gathered near him; VenusAstro walked ahead of the two others and looked at EarthAstro. "Nazitan influence or not, I've got to stop you!" EarthAstro held up her weapon taking it out of dagger mode. "Take your best shot!" On her last word, an electric blue beam pulsed from the end of the Moleculatom Blaster. Sparks caused the pink Astroranger to stumble backwards. EarthAstro put her weapon away and ran after her; VenusAstro assumed her position and charged after EarthAstro as well as the white and green Astrorangers watched. Both high-kicking at each other, VenusAstro ducked a roundhouse kick from EarthAstro; she also ducked a high spinning kick from VenusAstro. The pink Astroranger blocked a side kick and shin-kicked EarthAstro back. The yellow Astroranger blocked VenusAstro's foot and locked arms with her. VenusAstro strained to keep EarthAstro's arms from closing in. EarthAstro knocked VenusAstro's arms up and gave two _strong_ punches to her abs, stunning her completely. The yellow Astroranger took advantage and smacked the pink Astroranger into flying away. VenusAstro hit the asphalt and rolled to a stop while the others gathered near her. "Lotia!" JupiterAstro shouted while helping her up again. MercuryAstro looked ahead and pointed. "Oh no!" "Celestial Weapon!" EarthAstro called out holding her yellow daggers, "Lightning Daggers!" Crossing them at the guards, the yellow crystals in the base of the blades met and a ray of sunlight shined through them. The beam of yellow light pierced the ground and caused a powerful blast of light and sparks to explode knocking all three Astrorangers into the air. In Culver City, Tom still stayed at Sara Bergstrom's small household while chatting with her. She smiled while gazing upon him as he spoke. "You know, Tom, I've never met anyone quite like you," Sara said. "Your thinking is so very different. It's like you're... Well, I don't know--like, from another world." Tom chuckled when his pager began beeping. "Just a sec," he interrupted while removing it from the belt holder. He read it as the numbers 143 were printed on the display. This meant, one for three, one target attacking three Astrorangers. "I'm sorry Sara." Sara looked sad. "You don't have to go, do you?" "I'm surprised that we've talked for so long," Tom replied, "but--yes, I do." "I'm glad we could chat." There was a short pause but before Tom could stand up she held his hands. "You mentioned you play piano. Do you think..." she hesitated. "Do you think you could play..." Tom couldn't deny her, it was the least he could do before he just disappears from her hopes, perhaps forever. "A short piece but then I have to go." She nodded and he walked over to the piano bench and sat down. Lifting the key cover, he began to play the Opus 13 passage from Beethoven's Piano Sonata #8 in C Minor; Pathetique. That late afternoon at the Terranian Household, the Toyota minivan was parked in the driveway in front of the garage. Inside of the living room, Ron, Amy and Will walked quickly in through the front door. Amy ran into the kitchen. "I'm gonna check the garage." "Man I'm glad we were able to escape," Ron said. Will cast a look at him and replied, "It's a good thing Beverly didn't know Terranians could play dead just in case." Ron nodded. "I just wonder why Tom didn't answer my page?" He shrugged and shook his head. "Maybe whatever got to Dave, got to Tom too--unless he's working." Amy looked at Will and Ron impatiently. "Tom's truck isn't parked in the garage but Dave's is so he's still here." "Search the house and look for him, but be careful, Amy," Will said. Amy nodded and ran up the stairs. "Ron, see if you can call Tom's cell phone, maybe he's still in his truck." Ron also nodded. "You got it, Will." Will paced around still wondering what happened. And more importantly--why did EarthAstro leave instead of trying to kidnap the three of them? Upstairs, Amy walked through the hallway approaching Dave and Tom's room; the door was partly open and she pushed it open cautiously. Nobody appeared to be near Amy so she moved in through the open doorway. She moved in and saw Dave lying on his stomach on the bed from the waist up. "Dave?" He did not respond to her query. She saw all of his clothes on the floor beside the bed and bent down to check his pulse. Dave was still warm and alive which did calm her down a great deal, but she sensed something else was very wrong. Pulling him over onto his back, he looked exhausted--his hair was a mess. Out of curiosity, Amy looked at the souls of his feet. Holding his ankle, she saw Dave's foot was blushed. "Huh??" The state of Terranian arousal or recent arousal is obvious by the indication of red-tinted feet. Amy dropped Dave's leg and put her hand under the blanket. Her fingers instantly ran into a cold moisture and she removed her hand. Amy sniffed her fingers... She was stunned while slowly moving her hands away from her face; her lips fell open from shock while her eyes opened wide with horror. "No," she whispered. Stronger Amy said, "No. No!! Dave, why!?" She looked at Dave resting and her eyes started to produce beads of moisture. "Damn you!" she cried out. "How could you do this to me??" Standing up, Amy started crying strongly and ran out of the door and down the stairs. In the living room--Ron walked up to Will and looked up him trying to get his attention. "Will... Will. Will!" Will was still a little distracted. "Yeah, yeah--go ahead," he said. Ron sighed. "Aaron just called me while I was trying to call Tom and told me that there's a cyborg in the eighth dimension of Saturn." "Aw man!" Will fumed. "Well at least this is all startin' to add up." Amy came down the stairs crying loudly. Ron looked around in shock and Will walked over to Amy. "Amy, Amy! Shh, shh, calm down," Will said holding her in place. "Calm on; what happened? What's the matter..." Amy looked up at him with her face moist. "Will, Beverly was right; she was RIGHT..." Ron was stunned by all of this coming from Amy. "Amy, it's gonna be okay," Will assured. "It's..." "How could she do this to me?? Beverly... She's one of us, she's my..." Amy tried to say but was overcome by emotion. "I was gonna be Dave's first. Will, I..." Ron blinked with surprise--too much information was flooding his mind. Will firmly held her shoulders. "You've got to get it together, Amy!" "We need to get Dave back to the SpaceBase and get to Saturn," Ron said. The City of Vernon--an industrial portion of Los Angeles County; here EarthAstro stood in the rail yards occupied by tanker cars and freight trains. Along the railroad with tracks merging into other fields, Cyborg Najire approached the yellow Astroranger. "I await your orders, Najire; you command and I will obey," she said. "Tell me what to do." It did not speak but it did radio the commands to her. She was to take her AstroShuttle, AirShuttle to Saturn in the 8th dimension and and prevent the Astroranger's interference of the third solar sphere on that planet. "I understand and will obey." The cyborg nodded and stepped away. Landed on the gray gravel on the ground were green CommandShuttle, the starship, white TurboShuttle the rocket and pink RescueShuttle, the space shuttle. MercuryAstro, walking beside the smoking lake of fire, stepped over a small crater while looking into the yellow sky. The white Astroranger shook his head. "Weird." "Messuta! You see anything?" JupiterAstro asked from a distance. MercuryAstro looked back at him and shook his head. "No, Australis! Maybe it's gone into hiding or something killed it off." "Scanners found it when we landed so it's probably still here," JupiterAstro replied while walking towards MercuryAstro. The white Astroranger nodded. "You know, Messuta, I'm surprised we ever made it out here," JupiterAstro mentioned. "I'm still worried about Lotia." "Take it easy, Aus--she'll be all right. You payed attention to Lotia so she didn't feel completely abandoned," MercuryAstro assured him. "You did alright." JupiterAstro slowly nodded. "I hope so. I've never seen her that shattered before." Elsewhere, behind a pile of stones, a sand creature spied on the Astrorangers searching for Cyborg Saw. Meanwhile--VenusAstro walked along the opposite side of the lake, trying to remained focused on their mission; it was tremendously difficult but a bright blast of sparks exploded near her. She instantly became fully alert in concern for her safety while looking around when another burst shot up out of the ground. The pink Astroranger started running in a zig-zagging formation while the explosions followed her. The other two turned around in shock and saw her running from exploding towers of sparks. MercuryAstro looked at JupiterAstro and then at VenusAstro again. "What's doing that?" The green Astroranger stepped ahead of him. "I don't know, but we're going to find out. Let's go!" Both of them started running ahead. VenusAstro had jumped to the side and rolled clear. The other two came to her and she stood up with their help. "You okay?" JupiterAstro asked. "I think so," she answered. "WHAT is that??" Cyborg Saw stepped forth while putting its blowtorch back into its toolbelt. "This thing is hideous," MercuryAstro groaned. "Everybody ready?" "Ready," VenusAstro replied. JupiterAstro nodded. "Attack!" The three-part battle team of Astrorangers had charged ahead. Cyborg Saw took the screwdriver out of its belt and waved it to the ground forcing the metal to start extending into a full-length sword. Cyborg Saw ducked MercuryAstro's flying roundhouse-kick and swung its screwdriver-sword down. The white Astroranger's boot kicked the metal up. He ducked the cyborg's sideways strike but it cut diagonally downward against his uniform. MercuryAstro was thrown back by the force of the sparks blasting from the friction. VenusAstro charged ahead and high-kicked at the cyborg; it stepped out of the way so she turned around but VenusAstro had to block Cyborg Saw's metal stick with her left forearm. The pink Astroranger used her right arm to knock the metal stick up and her left to jab Cyborg Saw in the abs. Then she used her right hand to chop at its shoulder. VenusAstro tried to chop Saw's abs but it grabbed her arm and tripped her over onto her back. "Great Red Spot Kick!" JupiterAstro said jumping into the air. In the sky, he got into a flying side-kick position. A white boot pushed Saw's purple, fiberglass-like chest backwards. In the sand, Cyborg Saw made a groove for itself as its back shot into the ground. The green Astroranger back flipped onto one knee with his arms out in T-formation and then stood up to draw the weapon from his belt's holster. "Moleculatom Weapon!" The green Astroranger watched Cyborg Saw stand up again and shouted, "Fire!" Cyborg Saw leaped out of the way as the bright blue beam of energy electrocuted the ground, causing a tower of sparks to burst. Saw reached behind itself and grabbed its tape-measure and held it out. The yellow band of plastic streamed through the air and moments later, JupiterAstro was tied up by the tape. "What the? Oh no!" Cyborg Saw took its power drill and started firing thin red lasers at the green Astroranger. Sparks had burst from his uniform and VenusAstro turned around. "Australis!" she called out. "Celestial Weapon!" The pink Astroranger leaped into the air. In the sky, she held her pink boomerang while flying forth. "SonicBoomerang!" she shouted while tossing it. Sparks severed the tape measure as the boomerang passed through the plastic. JupiterAstro fell to gravel on the ground and held his chest. VenusAstro came to his side. "Are you okay?" "I think so--thanks," JupiterAstro replied. "Uh oh..." Cyborg Saw pulled a hammer out of its toolbelt and started swinging it as it came after them. MercuryAstro stood up and started charging after it. "I'll get 'em!" "Messuta, be careful!" VenusAstro shouted. MercuryAstro ducked Saw's iron swinging across for his head; he also cartwheeled away from a downward attack and then came up to roundhouse-kick the hammer head away. The white Astroranger blocked another sideways-attack from Saw's arm and upper-cut punched it in the abs with a right and then a left. Cyborg Saw grabbed his shoulders and knee-kicked him in the ribs. MercuryAstro bowed over but was knocked off his feet by a blast of sparks from Saw's hammer and flipped over onto the ground to roll away. "Messuta!!" the other two Astrorangers shouted. Cyborg Saw fired two circular saws from its arm cannons which bounced off both the green and pink Astroranger's uniforms as the sparks knocked them down. "This thing is a lot more dangerous than it looks," MercuryAstro said while getting up. "I've got to stop it!" MercuryAstro had charged after him. "Hermes Winged Ankles!" MercuryAstro announced as he jumped up. "Foot-Punches!" In the air, he kicked Cyborg Saw's chest twice from each foot alternately. Cyborg Saw's body flew backwards through the air. MercuryAstro back flipped and assumed his crescent arm-position upon landing on a knee. Saw got up and took a larger circular saw from its back and tossed it. "Uh oh!" MercuryAstro said. One right after the other, the razor sharp metal sparked off all three Astrorangers' uniforms knocking them all down. Finally, Saw got rid of them and so he started running back to where it was first trying to dynamite the ground to start drilling for the Solar Sphere. JupiterAstro got up on one knee and looked around. "That was fast. Where'd that cyborg go? "Good question," MercuryAstro replied. Just then, there was a very powerful roaring but not like any animal on Earth. "Where did that noise come from?" JupiterAstro asked. MercuryAstro stood up, shook his head and shrugged. "I don't know but it sure doesn't sound friendly." The roaring got louder and they all got together. "Watch your backs, guys," JupiterAstro warned. "I think we might have fallen into yet another trap." Suddenly, the sand on the ground began to rise and take the shape of a ghostly humanoid creature that lurched forth while sliding through the ground. Another sand creature formed out of the dirt. MercuryAstro watched as they were being surrounded by these sand monsters that began to grow legs. "These guys don't look too friendly," MercuryAstro said. "What's the plan?" JupiterAstro put away his weapon. "Try to not appear hostile. Put away your Moleculatom weapons." The other two put their weapons back into their holsters. MercuryAstro looked at the green Astroranger asking, "Now what?" "We wait." Little did he realize, the sand creatures of Saturn were warning them to leave or be destroyed; their time had expired by the time they put away their weapons. The sand monsters continued closing in while roaring angrily. VenusAstro took a step backwards. "So much for that!" MercuryAstro looked around anxiously. "Australis, we better do something before they do who knows what to us." The green, white and pink Astrorangers watched as the sand monsters began to lurch towards them.
