Enterprises presents . . . GALAXY TASK FORCE ASTRO RANGER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Starring... Sheratan Kasei, a.k.a. Dave Marcello. MarsAstro! Australis Mokusei, a.k.a. William Richards. JupiterAstro! Nashiran Dosei, a.k.a. Thomas Nevison. SaturnAstro! Messuta Suisei, a.k.a. Ronald Michaeli. MercuryAstro! Lotia Kinsei, a.k.a. Amy Leven. VenusAstro! Beverly Tenmei. EarthAstro! and... Commander Leto, a.k.a., Dr. Aaron Hanson. Featuring... Detective Frank Mahoney and Detective Kathy Sanchez. with... Captain Tony Y. Fleishman. Last time on Astroranger: On the sand, Amy sighed. "Hehe, no what I mean is; after the past six days of Dave and I rushing through the arrangements and helping Tom and Ron set up music, my mind hasn't had a chance to actually realize that I am about to spend the rest of my life with Dave." "Wait a minute--wait a minute, what happened again?" Dave asked. Ron looked at him seriously. "While you were out, someone who _looked_ like Amy came home asking where you were." "She or actually, the cyborg," Tom corrected himself, "was probably searching for the only Astroranger who would know the true location to the last three solar spheres." "Which means that when the cyborg that looked like Amy had left right after fighting Beverly and the _real_ Amy, it took the solar spheres and ran as soon as it saw Tom and I show up at the beach," Will said. On the platform, an arc of electricity had formed between the red skin of the cyborg and the tube of light. Another lightning bolt had struck the cyborg and caused its body to jump once more. More electric blue arcs of light had danced across it's torso causing the cyborg to stiffen up and even vibrate. Cyborg Akuma nodded and said, "Galaxy Task Force Astroranger will die." Officer Beverly Tenmei was dragged while kicking and screaming by her arms, two Armatons holding each. The five Astrorangers stood by as Cyborg Morpher III collapsed onto the street and suddenly burst into flames after exploding. "Hey, I remember you," Beverly said. "I was in that cave with the others when you told Tortan to kill us! Yeah--you're Adol, aren't you?!" "Terribly sorry," Adol replied. "May I welcome again to the Nazitan outpost at Pluto." "Pluto? Again!?" Beverly screamed. "Adol, you're going to be _real_ sorry you brought me back here. I vowed never to return to this hell hole!" Ginara clenched her fist. "Tortan! Going up against Adol the Great is insane! His power is vast." "He was a soldier once as I was, Ginara," Tortan told her. "Once I kill him, I will take his place as Tortan the Great!" Tortan's body had spontaneously combusted into flames of fire that exploded into a violent blast, launching black smoke skyward. Behind the flames, Adol put his arms down and looked at the once living torch before himself before turning around and walking away. Titan-Akuma's pitch fork crashed through the metal blade of the single-sided sword. On the dirt below, the other half of the sword dropped to AstroMan's feet. AstroMan looked at the smoking severed end of the SunSabre. Sparks had continuously spewed out of the open hole in AstroMan's chest when jabbed by Akuma before. Eventually, it began to tip over. Inside of the cockpit--MarsAstro leaped over beside a round hatch and pulled the door open. "Emergency evacuation! Come on, let's move it! Go! Everybody, abandon the cockpit! Let's go!" While he said that each Astroranger had ran out of the hole before leaping out himself. "This is no bluff, Astroranger," Adol had announced while standing next to Igan. "Titan-Akuma will sever this cable and Beverly will plunge to her death; and without AstroMan or your shuttle fleet, you cannot rescue her." "What do you want, Adol?" JupiterAstro asked. "Only this: Surrender and she will go free," Adol answered. "Fight us, and she will most certainly perish." And now... The conclusion of Galaxy Task Force Astroranger Episode No. 50 "I Will Win" ACT I: An opal, sphere-shaped space station hid in synchronous orbit of the Earth's moon; onboard the SpaceBase--Sheratan looked at his wrist watch and turned around to pace by the others. "As lovely as it was for the Nazitans to grant us this little time to call a huddle and figure out what the frag we're gonna do but the fact is we have nothing." Lotia stood up and appeared offended. "Sheratan, don't say that!" "Come on, Lotia--they smoked our asses in AstroMan, the Celestial Weapons were were fried," Sheratan shouted, "Beverly is dangling from a God damn skyscraper and we STILL don't know where the hell the Earth's solar sphere is!" Australis looked down and spoke up. "I think I know why it is nobody can find it. Lotia, remember when I said that Beverly's GeneGem was fabricated on Terrania but the explosion had caused it to slip into Earth's dimension?" "I think so," she answered. "That's because the new source material that they were using to make the Genesis Gem Stone was too powerful." Australis nodded. "Yes and it worked, but I did some checking. The records show that the unidentified isotope that Uton found has the same atomic structure as a solar sphere." "So what you're telling me is that Beverly's ring was made out of the Earth's solar sphere?" Sheratan asked. Nashiran rubbed his chin, pondering why Beverly had been a key element to the entire mission since they first met. "It makes sense," Messuta interjected. "All the other spheres were in alter- dimensions of other planets. The sphere on Earth was probably on Terrania." "This is bad news then," Sheratan said. "The Nazitans are two hints short of figuring out the same thing we did. Once that happens, they are going to do everything they can to make Beverly form the Infinitum Genesis Ring." "But the question is," Messuta replied, "how IS the Genesis Ring formed?" A siren began to radiate throughout the primary chamber as bars of red light at all ten stations and the main console below the primary view screen flashed. Commander Leto had walked up to one of the stations on the right and began to type. "Visual on the main screen." Lotia looked up and her face was stricken with terror. "I don't believe this at all." On the screen was a picture of Titan-Cyborg Juryok, a red troll with a single eye and a dark jewel in its belly. It was day time where Juryok had stomped its way through the city. "I fought that cyborg in Venus' sixth dimension when trying to stop Tortan from getting its sphere," Lotia said. "It was while you guys were trying to save Beverly." "First it's night, now it's day? This doesn't look like L.A., Commander," Australis said. "Where is this feed coming from?" "Longitude and latitude coordinates mapped it out to Australia," Leto answered. "And it's... Noon, right now in Sydney--where that cyborg is." "I don't get it , why is it all the way out there? And HOW did come it's back!?" Lotia asked. Leto shook his head. "I don't know." "I've got the feeling that THIS is what the Nazitans had in mind for searching the world for it's solar sphere," Nashiran said. Australis shrugged. "I guess that's a good thing. At least they still don't know that Beverly basically has the sphere they're looking for." Messuta looked over at another terminal. "Uh oh, we got another. This time, in Germany. It's four o'clock in the morning over there but the riot police are already getting everybody out of their. Some buildings are on fire and.. Woah woah, it's that fire breathing dragon cyborg!" "The one that torched Beverly's old apartment building where Sheratan had to get her out of there," Australis had recalled. "We blew those cyborgs to bits!" Sheratan checked his watch. "We're almost out of time, you guys. We've got to tell the Nazitans something before they cut Beverly loose." "Are those AstroShuttles ready yet?" Lotia asked. Messuta shrugged. "The robots have finished repairs but the systems haven't been tested so we have no idea what condition they're in." Lotia looked at everyone. "To hell with Adol--let's save the world!" Dawn. The sunrise in the east ascended over the Golden State Freeway in Elysian Park, north of the baseball stadium close to Union Station and downtown Los Angeles. The ray of sunlight had cast a light over Beverly's eyes causing her to squint. Blinking, the police officer had moved her head out of the way but when she tried to move she noticed that was strapped to a tree in the park. Looking around in the grass field, she saw nobody. All of a sudden, she begun to remember a recurring dream that she just then woke up from. "EarthAstro," a voice had echoed out. "Welcome to the dawn of destruction." The ground had begun to quake as thunder cracked. Bolts of red lightning hit the grass as multiple sparks had randomly burst out of the lawn. The shaking turf had begun to part in a jagged line on the left and on the right. Beverly looked from the side to side wondering what was going on. Suddenly, red smoke seeped up from the darkness below. And, in the many flashes of light that came of the effects, Cyborg Akuma had appeared. When the smoke cleared, Igan, Pleadia and Ginara stood to her left. "What is going on?!" Beverly demanded to know. "Why am I here?" Ginara stepped up to her from the right. "We have discovered you are more valuable than merely a trump card in forcing Galaxy Task Force Astroranger to allow us gain the Earth's Solar Sphere. In fact, we have discovered that you HAVE the Earth's Solar Sphere that we're looking for." "You are so lame, Ginara. How stupid do you think I would be to believe that when you could have taken it from me any time you wanted with as many times as you have kidnapped me," Beverly replied. Pleadia shook his head. "We didn't know that your Genesis Gemstone ring for which you require to become the yellow Astroranger was in actuality a Solar Sphere that had been condensed into a gem." Beverly's forehead wrinkled while her angular eyes had squinted with disbelief and hope they were wrong. "Why else would you be the most powerful Astroranger so far?" Igan added. "A reason you have always been our top priority." Beverly felt defeated. After being pursued, brainwashed, attacked, the young Japanese officer had taken all she could. Exhaling, she looked down and asked, "So what do you need me for now?" "To form the Infinitum Genesis Ring," Ginara answered. Beverly shook her head. "You're out of your mind if you think I'm going to give that much power to an evil as hannus as you," she said. Her voice trembled while stifling a cry. "And when the Astroranger task force gets me out of here..." "The Astrorangers can't help you now, petty human," Ginara informed. "Cyborg Akuma has raised the greatest cyborgs ever to attack the world. Your task force is spread too thin in their futile attempt to stop the titans." Akuma held its pitch fork out, pointing it at Beverly. "Overnight, they have managed to ravage precious areas of your tiny planet. And they will destroy it entirely unless you help us." Beverly sniffed. "Prove it," she shouted toughly. Ginara nodded. "As you wish," it replied. Igan held up a megaphone-shaped device that projected a digital window into midair. Inside, pictures of Zombie Pyro flaming CombatShuttle appeared as much of the city was on fire. It was replaced by another image of Zombie Miira swinging the white rocket, TurboShuttle, tied up by it's mummy bandages. Beverly was watching the Astroranger's fight a losing battle and the Earth would soon be doomed to Nazitan rule. Her defiance was insignificant against the fact that the Astrorangers lost and that it's only a matter of time now. Beverly swallowed and gritted her teeth. "I have more confidence in the Galaxy Task Force than you do," Beverly said for appearances. "You will have to find another way to form the Genesis Ring." "Oh, but I'm afraid we need you to willingly agree to it," Pleadia corrected. "You see, since you became EarthAstro, my experiments have led me to believe it takes someone to make it happen." Beverly almost wanted to laugh. "Sh'yeah right!" Ginara stood out of the way of another tree in the distance, featuring Sasha, tied to the bark and drugged unconscious. "I will awaken her and inject her with poison that will cause a slow and painful death." Beverly looked at her black hair trail down her blue oversized shirt that she wore to bed last night. Looking at her socks, Beverly knew that Sasha had waken up and tried to fight as she always goes to bed barefoot. Beverly trembled with pure nervous adrenalin while attempting to breath. Her heart pounded within her throat while she dropped her head. "Ok." Ginara looked at her anxiously. Beverly looked up, shaking her hair out of her swollen, red eyes. "I'll do it. But you're going to pay. I don't know how and I don't know when, but someone will make you pay for your crimes against all living beings." Looking at the picture of Zombie Saw swing its screwdriver sword at the pink RescueShuttle, she felt her spirit dying. The destruction of the skyscrapers had caused her to remember vague images from her dream where various buildings were on fire. ``I remember now,'' Beverly thought to herself. ``My dream was a premonition.'' Igan had gone over and cut the metal straps that had held Beverly to the tree lose with his sword and gripped her arm. Beverly was too physically and emotionally weak to resist. Meanwhile Pleadia had emptied a sack containing the glowing solar spheres: white Mercury, pink Venus, red Mars, green Jupiter, lavender Saturn, blue Neptune, cyan Uranus and gray Pluto. He looked up at her and ordered in a stern tone, "Do it." She looked at him and then at the spheres, resisting the urge to cry. Beverly sniffed and then held out her ring for it to shine against the sun. "Universal Genesis Create!!" she shouted. The sun rays had gone through the jade stone upon her golden ring and caused eight separated rays of light to hit the rainbow of spheres below, however, nothing happened. Beverly took her ring out of the air and looked at her fist. "I--I don't understand.. It should have worked! (My dream was right up until this point.) Let me try again!" "No," Ginara denied. Everyone but Akuma looked at her as that was not in the plan. "You have failed as I knew you would. This Earth woman is attempting to deceive us by pretending not to know how to create the Infinitum Genesis Ring!" "No!!" Beverly pleaded. "It's not true." "I'm afraid we have no other alternative," Ginara said. "Igan, terminate her." Igan had walked towards Sasha, tied to the tree and held up a black square chip about two square inches with several tiny pins in the bottom of it. Igan had pushed the side of Sasha's head and was going to use his thumb to push the device into her neck when Beverly had screamed, "NO!!!" Birds flocked out of the tree after she'd shouted this and everyone had froze. Igan turned around and grinned slyly. "What did you say?" He had enjoyed it when the female Astroranger task force members would beg him. Beverly could hold back no longer as she started to cry; her face tightened up by her involuntary reaction as her eyes filled with tears. "Spare her." He and Igan had stepped away from Sasha, knowing Beverly would now service them. "You have violated my city. Hurt my friends, killed my best friend, King and are turning my entire world up side down," Beverly said. "It has to stop," she whispered. The words, "it just has to stop," had disintegrated into more crying as her head sunk. While Beverly held her right fist involuntarily, a tear fell out of Beverly's eye. Another dripped off of her cheek and both had landed on her ring. Her golden ring with the green GeneGem on its top caugh a third tear drop. Mysteriously, the Jade Genesis Gemstone began to shine so bright, it had long light green rays of light beam from all eight sides on the jade stone. Ginara looked at Pleadia, shouting "What is happening with her ring?!" Suddenly, the twinkling jade stone began to glow so brightly, Beverly used her left hand to hide her eyes. The glowing stone had become a sphere of white light that had flashed like a strobe light and ascended from top of Beverly's hand. While rising, it had begun to expand in size. On the grass next to the other eight spheres a yellow glowing sphere had landed beside them. "YES," Ginara had cheered, "the final Solar Sphere." Quite suddenly, all nine spheres had suddenly shot into the air like comets. "Eh?" Beverly gasped. The nine spheres streaked through the blue morning sky of the city like a rainbow that arched overhead. Suddenly, they had flown zdown again and the scenery behind the flying spheres had changed into a view of outer space with the milky way in the center. All nine spheres had formed a circle that spun clockwise faster and faster until arcs of lightning formed inside of the ring white light. The lightning grew so brightly that a blinding yellow light had flashed. Everyone in Elysian Park had put their arms over their faces to shield their eyes from the powerfully bright white rays of light shining from above. In the sky, still spinning was a golden bar approximately two feet wide the shape of the number eight turned on its side. It was the symbol of infinity. "The Infinitum Genesis Ring!!" Pleadia shouted. "At last, it is ours!" Ginara added. "Akuma! Get it at once!!" Igan watched him affirmatively and run ahead. Suddenly, a wall of sparks had exploded in front of them. Cyborg Akuma, Ginara, Igan and Pleadia flopped onto the grassy turf while smoking. In her Los Angeles Police Department uniform, Beverly Tenmei stepped forth and pointed her finger ahead. "The time for your reign of destruction is about to end. Right now!" The Infinitum Genesis Ring remained in midair suspended above the park and seen in front of the tall skyscrapers of downtown Los Angeles. Suddenly, it began to gleam and send down multiple beams of yellow light. Beverly looked as if she were endlessly ascending in front of a blue field of stars and glowing spheres as she was free of gravity while constantly spinning slowly. Eventually becoming stationary, Beverly's body had become a swirling silhouette of rainbow colors with her eyes closed. Igan, Pleadia and Ginara had used their hands to protect their eyes from the white light glaring at the trio. Suspended in midair above, the golden ring shaped as the symbol of infinity had began to fire more beams of light ahead. Beverly's face and neck were suddenly decorated in make-up resembling tree leaves. A golden tiara with the jade GeneGem in center had materialized across her forehead. After gleaming, a silver diamond studded crown had materialized upon her black short cut hair. Her eyes suddenly opened as the color of her skin returned, showing pink lipstick on her smiling lips. In the sky, a twinkle of light had shined as Beverly Tenmei came flying feet first onto the grass assuming a unique three-way battle pose. "I - Am - Sonawa Mother Earth!!" she shouted. Barefoot, Sonawa Earth had worn a full-body, backless leotard. On the yellow uniform were green tiger-stripes traveling diagonally along her ribs. While Igan looked in awe, Pleadia asked, "What is she?!" "I don't care!" Ginara screamed. "Destroy her, Cyborg Akuma! Kill her now!" Igan watched Cyborg Akuma run past Ginara through the grass after Sonawa. The Infinitum Genesis Ring dropped out of the sky and fell into her grip. She swung it around and then begun to run ahead. The red cyborg stuck its pitch fork directly ahead but had already hurricane kicked the fork. Cyborg Akuma struck down and and the warrior in the yellow skin-tight bodysuit cartwheeled out of the way. When Akuma sliced across, she had leaped over the red staff and tumbled over. When she came up on one knee, Sonawa used both fists to hold up the golden Genesis ring, blocking the cyborg's metal rod before it could stab her. Sonawa had ducked and used a low-spin kick to trip Cyborg Akuma into falling onto it's back. On its back, Cyborg Akuma had put its hands on the grass behind its head and pushed its body into the air and back onto its feet. Sasha's head bobbed while from her waking up. She had looked up and saw Akuma swing its pitch fork across that someone, who looked a lot like Beverly Tenmei in an athletic yellow leotard with long legs, jumped over. Sasha thought that she'd still been drugged and was hallucinating. Sonawa cannon-ball back flipped and used her left forearm to block Cyborg Akuma's red pitch fork. She hop-kicked it back. Akuma had stood back and turned around, preparing to cut across her flank. Sonawa had performed a walkover which allowed the fork to pass harmlessly past herself. Cyborg Akuma rammed the pitch fork ahead shouting, "Die!!" Akuma did not see Sonawa boosting herself into the midair while her entire body twisted into a powerful spin-kick. "Earth Hurricane Kick!!" Suddenly her bare foot knocked against the pitch fork's shaft. The fork was kicked clear of the red cyborg's massive hands. Akuma reached out as his staff went flying into the air in front of the skyscrapers. "Tiara Sunbeam!!" Sonawa shouted. The jade stone in her tiara began to shoot a bright yellow ray of light into the sky. "NO!" Akuma shouted. In midair the beam shot through the staff causing it to bust in half and disintegrate into sparkling light. "You are next!" Sonawa shouted. Akuma snorted steam again. "You will pay for that!" Bowed over and shot red bolts of light out the horns on its head. Huge dust clouds had exploded in Elysian Park causing Sonawa to stumble and moan. Red lightning bolted out of Cyborg Akuma's cat-like eyes. Various explosions caused sparks to cascade everywhere around her but she jumped out of the way. Cyborg Akuma continued the stream of red lightning from its horns, eyes and fingers. "Yes! Fall! Fall before me and perish!!" A huge tower of fire exploded into the sky as yellow clad warrior had somersaulted into the air and flipped over. Landing on her knee, she changed knees while holding the Infinitum Genesis Ring. Akuma jerked back, surprised she survived his most powerful attack. Pleadia looked at Ginara as they took cover by bushes. "She must have at least twenty times the strength of an Astroranger!!" "She is beautiful though," Igan commented. Ginara looked at Igan. "Perhaps you would like to challenge her and face certain doom." "Heh," Pleadia chuckled. "Good one." Sonawa Mother Earth ran ahead holding her golden ring. Cyborg Akuma had also charged after her. When Akuma jumped into a high-spin kick, Sonawa tumbled under its leg and high-kicked its face, causing it to stumble backwards. Cyborg Akuma knee-kicked at her and she blocked the kick. "Now you know how it feels to be overpowered!" she shouted. Akuma blocked a high-shin kick on his and then his right side. Then its abs caught the heel of her foot before her right hand jabbed the red cyborg's neck at the base. She grabbed Akuma's shoulders and knee-kicked its groin and then, with both fists punched it in the chest. Cyborg Akuma stumbled backwards but then it came back with its arms in the air, ready to crush her with a bear-hug. "I will kill you with my bare hands!" She used her wrists to knock the red cyborg's massive arms in the air. Sonawa Mother Earth had jumped up and, in midair, used both feet to kick Cyborg Akuma directly in the head. She somersaulted backwards onto her feet and stood up. Akuma's body was airborne, sailing backwards through the cloud-spotted sky. On the grass, the red cyborg crashed into the lawn and rolled over multiple times. The golden Infinitum Genesis Ring was held above Sonawa Earth's head before bringing it down beside herself to hold by both fists. Cyborg Akuma stood up while smoking and stumbled around a bit. "You can not stop me; I am the most _powerful_ cyborg--I am AKUMA!" "And now--you are dead!" Sonawa shouted back. Suddenly standing in front of a display of the zodiac, Sonawa Mother Earth had brought the Infinitum Genesis Ring above her head. "BURNING SUN FIRE IGNITE!" Sonawa had tossed the genesis ring into the air. Cyborg Akuma looked in fear as the shiny gold ring descended on him. In its torso, the ring had attached itself to Akuma's red skin. It screamed in pain as its skin started smoking where the ring had landed. Eventually, the Infinitum Genesis Ring grew a bright white and began to push through its body. Pleadia squinted as Cyborg Akuma's body was being cored by the ring burning through its body. "That is impossible!" Igan looked at him. "Well it's happening, Pleadia." A ball of light streaked out of Akuma's back and returned to Sonawa. The sphere returned to being the golden Genesis ring before flying directly into her hand. A three way explosion of sparks blasted out of Cyborg Akuma's back, chest and up out of its neck, blowing its head into the air in the process. Cyborg Akuma's head had exploded into multi-colored fireworks while its body had exploded into a huge dust cloud before multiple Earth shaking blasts of fire had erupted out of the carcass, disintegrating Cyborg Akuma. In Africa, the pride lands within the Earth had begun to shake as if there was a violent earthquake of major destructive capability. Zombie Miira fired stars out of its eyes at TurboShuttle. Aboard the white rocket, MercuryAstro looked on the screen and saw a vortex of swirling blue light forming in the ground. "What in the world is that!?" he asked himself. He flew his vessel out of sight while the 200 foot-tall mummy was lifted off its feet. Overhead, Zombie Miira had coasted through the sky. In the Vortex, he screamed while drowning in the sea of past cyborgs killed. In London, England, Zombie Pyro held on to Big Ben while avoiding the huge swirling pit that had returned. The red shuttle MarsAstro piloted had flown by the clock at the top of the tall building. Onboard, he looked at his scanners. "England never has Earthquakes!" he thought. "And what on Earth is that Vortex?" On his screen, the red, fire breathing dragon had been reduced to a tiny ball of light that had dropped inside of the vortex. Miraculously, the pit had closed as if it were never there. The CommandShuttle flown over the Pacific Ocean at maximum speed. Onboard, JupiterAstro pushed buttons on his console. "Team, something weird happened. I was fighting the red troll-like cyborg in Sydney when suddenly, some kind of hole opened up in the ground and sucked it right inside." "Yeah I know," SaturnAstro replied over the radio. The black Astroranger looked up on the screen to see a picture of JupiterAstro. "The same thing happened to me in Tokyo. I don't know what happened." The black SolarShuttle had flown over Mount Fuji heading east. MarsAstro shook his head. "I'm glad their gone, but now we have got to return to Los Angeles to save Beverly!" "(If she's still alive.)" VenusAstro said to herself aboard the RescueShuttle flying westbound from the Empire State Building. Sonawa Mother Earth, Beverly Tenmei in a yellow full-body uniform with a tiara and crown, had stood in the park observing the remains of Cyborg Akuma turn to dust. While breathing heavily, she noticed that Sasha was still tied to the tree in Elysian Park and barely conscious. "Sasha! I'm coming!!" Overhead, Ginara had somersaulted out of sight and landed in front of Sonawa Earth, stopping her approach. Defensively, she held up her Infinitum Ring in preparation of confrontation. "Not so fast, Sonawa!" Ginara said. "You can kill a cyborg but let's see if you can handle ME." On the turf, she put her metal feet together before leaping up; in the sky--Ginara pointed her finger forward before the gem in her tiara shined. It pulsed forth in a bright yellow beam of energy as she ascended in front of the trees. Like a tennis racket, Sonawa Mother Earth swung the Infinitum Genesis Ring back the other way as the yellow comet from Ginara came her way, knocking it back the other way in a flash of light. "Ginara!" Igan shouted. Without a thought, the Nazitan spy leaped into the air. Pleadia leaped forward and reached out while looking to the sky. "Igan, what are you doin'!" In the blue sky, Ginara was pushed out of the air by Igan but his body had exploded sparks once the comet struck him. On the ground, Igan landed on the grass, smoldering while electricity sizzled all over his blackened skin. There, he writhed as sparks popped out of his uniform. Ginara dropped onto the grass as well before rolling over. Looking up, he saw Igan and she could tell by the way his head fell over that he was dead. ACT II: Aboard the opal, sphere-shaped space station in orbit of the moon, Leto had looked up at the main display screen. "The Infinitum Genesis Ring has been formed and Beverly seems to have become some sort of guardian possessed by the spirits of the Galaxy." In the cockpit of TurboShuttle, MercuryAstro looked up in shock. "What?!" Commander Leto nodded. "She managed to destroy Cyborg Akuma as well!" Inside of the pink RescueShuttle's cockpit, VenusAstro slowly clenched her fist and nodded. "Good job, big sister." "That is amazing!" SaturnAstro said while flying the black SolarShuttle. "How did she do it?" "I don't know yet." Australis crossed his arms while flying the green CommandShuttle. "I bet she found a way to use the Infinitum Genesis Ring as a weapon." Leto walked over to another console onboard the main deck. "Hurry to a park north of downtown Los Angeles where Titan-Ginara are. Beverly is facing them alone." Within the cockpit of CombatShuttle, MarsAstro had flown his red shuttle into mainland United States. "Well, we're going to put a stop to that. Let's go!" VenusAstro nodded. "As soon as we're there, let's get AstroMan back in action!" "We can't waste any time either," MercuryAstro added. He saw a picture-in-picture image of VenusAstro while seeing a display of the mountains coming towards him. "Bring it up to 36k-mph." The morning sun had began to heat Elysian Park north of the collection of high rise buildings in downtown Los Angeles in the distance. Ginara was looking at Igan lying motionless in the grass with the wind blowing the smoke off of his body when suddenly a voice said, "Ginara." Looking behind herself, the ninja-armored warrior stood up. "Adol the Great, my leader. You have come." "Yes," Adol replied. "I wanted to be here to witness my success." Pleadia looked at Adol. "Sire!! An Astroranger formed the Infinitum Genesis Ring and killed MY BEST Cyborg! We couldn't be farther from success if we tried!" "Your depth of perception rivals Tortan's in its shallowness," Adol the Great said. Adol looked at Sonawa Mother Earth, decorated in make-up, tiara and crown wearing a yellow uniform. A backless leotard reaching the ankles of her bare feet with green tiger stripes along her ribs, matching the tree-leaves panted on her cheeks. "You--insignificant iota of a sentient being will succumb to me, regardless of the power bestowed upon you." "That's where you're wrong again, Adol," Sonawa replied. "I was chosen because my strength has allowed me to survive you and your forces since the day you arrived!" "You have survived my force, but you have yet to survive the essence of me," Adol spoke. "By the powers invested in me by Lord Vahorra, I command you to grow Ginara!" he shouted while his wand's pinwheel began to glow and spin on its own. "Magnify your size one hundred fold, amplify your strength one thousand fold. Increase your powers and become Titan-Ginara!" Purple bits of energy came streaming out of Adol's wand. Vibrating, Ginara's legs began to expand, as did her arms. Titan-Ginara had risen up from the ground and brought her fists apart. "No one can help you now," Titan-Ginara replied. "Your negligible moments of victory will now cease to exist!" As Sonawa Mother Earth looked into the sky, a shadow was cast over her body. Titan-Ginara had said while pulling her foot back before she swung her leg forth. Sonawa Earth ducked down and put her hands over her head. Titan-Ginara was kicking forth when suddenly, rays of red, green, white, purple and pink had zapped Ginara's breast plate. Sparks exploded all over her armor while the titan stumbled backwards. "It can't be!" Titan-Ginara said. "Oh yes it can," SaturnAstro replied. "Everybody, it's time." MarsAstro sat within the cockpit of his red AstroShuttle, CombatShuttle. "Merge to form AstroMan." A five-way view of all cockpits showed the white gloves of the Astroranger's fists pulling back a large black lever. Red and Pink Shuttles landed on the ground as feet and legs while green CommandShuttle's nose folded under the ventral hull while its jet packs slid on to the sides to become shoulders. The craft connected to the legs, forming the torso. Meanwhile, the rockets white TurboShuttle and black SolarShuttle hooked up to the shoulders as arms and fists. Meanwhile, different tubes were bringing each Astroranger in their seat to the primary cockpit. AstroMan's head ascended from between its shoulders--through its red visor, one could see the Astroranger battle team rising into place. On the bottom level, JupiterAstro and SaturnAstro occupied the control bank there while the top bank was manned by VenusAstro and MercuryAstro. MarsAstro manned the middle and center station and placed his hands on the controls. "Merging sequence complete." Pulling away to show all of the multi-colored robot, its fists' knuckles were together. AstroMan's red visor gleamed into a twinkle in the upper corner when bringing its fists apart; a field of stars in outer space appeared behind itself showing the planets: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars. Inside of the cockpit, MarsAstro keyed in a number on his keypad. "SunSabre!" AstroMan was armed with the single-sided, silver-bladed sword with a golden sideways I for a guard and charged ahead. Titan-Ginara knocked the blade of the SunSabre skyward before slamming the robot's chest with her fist. After sparks blasted from her punch, another jab to its armor blasted sparks again. AstroMan stumbled backwards and, aboard the cockpit--the Astrorangers were rocked in their seats before the red Astroranger in the center brough up his fist. "AstroMan: VisorRay!" MarsAstro commanded. With its fists in front of its red visor, a singular beam of yellow pulse forward. Titan-Ginara prematurely leaped out of the way. Coming out of a flip, she landed on her feet--touched her tiara and pointed her finger ahead. Just then, a shimmering beam of golden yellow pierced ahead. Fireworks had burst from the ground into a fountain of sparks and, in front of the Astrorangers in the cockpit--they were rocked by the explosion. Sonawa Mother Earth had leaped up upon a hill and looked up. "Hey! It's me guys, Beverly! Here comes a little help!" she shouted as she pointed her ring of gold molded the shape of the infinity symbol which fired multiple bolts of light into the sky. Titan-Ginara's chest began to flash over and over again as sparks blew from her breast plate. Inside of the cockpit, VenusAstro had looked at the main screen and held her hands together in front of her chest. "I can't tell you glad I am to see you." Sonawa Earth looked up at AstroMan and smiled. "I feel the same way." Sonawa Mother Earth brought her fist above herself and then held it directly in front of her face. "ChangeForm to yellow Astroranger!" Swinging her arms into position, her fists were pointed to each other as she announced, "EarthAstro!" "Uh oh," Pleadia moaned. Sonawa pushed her fists forth shouting. "ASTRO-CHARGE!" The jade gemstone on her tiara has started shining brilliantly. Her body was black silhouette in front of a red grid, a white bar of light scrolled across her body from left to right. When the light returned to the left, she was in a shiny yellow Astroranger uniform with a skirt as light flashed again. Standing upon the hill, EarthAstro looked into the sky and shouted, "Galaxy Task Force Command: AirShuttle!" The floating AirShuttle was anchored beside the Astroranger SpaceBase orbiting the moon in space. It had detached it's chain link to the station and engaged its engines as the jet plane-like space craft blasted off to Earth. AstroMan slugged Titan-Ginara's breast plate with sparks breaking out from the blow. When the towering robot punched again, she caught its huge black fist and had gotten AstroMan into an arm lock. Like a machine gun, rapid shots had fired out of guns mounted under the wings of AirShuttle. Many two sparks blew out of the chest of Titan-Ginara before stumbling backwards. EarthAstro looked to her left while being rocked in her cockpit. "Hey guys, I think we need to team up and get rid of at least one of these guys!" "Easier said than done, Beverly," SaturnAstro replied. "It's worth a shot, you guys," VenusAstro interjected. "All right then--let's nail 'em!" MarsAstro announced. "Merge to form AstroRobo!" AirShuttle flew in and stopped to hover over AstroMan; arcs of electricity controlled the jet craft so that it perfectly landed on the shoulders of the robot AstroMan. In the cockpit of Airshuttle--doors opened behind EarthAstro as her seat on tracks rolled backwards out of the cockpit. The nose of the yellow jet craft came down onto the chest of AstroMan showing a new face on the, now, 175-foot tall robot: AstroRobo! Inside of the cockpit, EarthAstro's seat came down from the ceiling against the rear-wall where she was suspended above the five Astrorangers on the three levels below. "AstroRobo Online!" the six of them shouted. On the grown, Adol the Great looked at the massive robot stand between the two titans. "Show no mercy, Ginara--eliminate them!" Titan-Ginara's feet pounded the ground while she ran forth. "I will tear you apart with my bare hands!!" All shouting, "AstroRobo Solar Power--Flare!!" the gun tubes on the wings of AirShuttle, mounted on the shoulders of AstroMan, started to glow yellow. Inside of the barrels, spheres of light began to brighten, suddenly, they burst forth into streams of pure cosmic rays. The solar energy penetrated Ginara but the cracks in her armor began glowing with a pulse. "No! NO! No!!!" she screamed as her body sent out rays of transparent light. With a red aura, Titan-Ginara fell into the ground and burst into an explosion of fire with black smoke pushing up into the sky. Pleadia looked at Adol the Great. "Sire, Ginara is dead! What are we going to do now?" "You are going to do nothing but what I will do is what no Armiton, no cyborg and no minion can do and that's finish the job," Adol said as he stripped off his cape. "Now! AstroRobo, meet your doom as I become..." Rising 180 feet into the sky stood Adol the Great as he'd transformed himself into a titan. "...Titan-Adol!!!" he announced. Each step Titan-Adol took sounded like thunder as he stepped towards AstroRobo. Within the cockpit of AstroRobo, all six Astrorangers had braced themselves for his attack. "Don't worry guys," MarsAstro said; "We're ready for him. Let's bake 'em!" AstroRobo stood there, looking straight ahead before slamming its black, metal fist into Titan-Adol's chest. Sparks busted out of its chest but he stood as if nothing had happened. Titan-Adol tumbled underneath another punch from the tall robot. Adol the Great stood up and he held out his wand which had caused a stream of energy to bombard AstroRobo. Sparks had caused the robot to writhe before falling down. Inside of the cockpit, MercuryAstro looked up from his console. "We've got problems guys!" On the screen, Adol the Great was seen walking their way. Titan-Adol held AstroRobo above his head in both hands and said, "Now, I shall put an end to Galaxy Task Force Astroranger once and for all!!" Adol the Great pushed the gigantic robot into the air. AstroRobo sailed through the sky while, inside of the cockpit--the six Astrorangers held onto their consoles while the G-forces of being hurled such an incredible distance had pressed them against their seats. AstroRobo's body had smashed into the side of a tall black high rise building. The skyscraper had become a towering inferno as the fire exploded everywhere. AstroRobo came out of the other side of the building and dropped through a freeway overpass, causing the concrete to burst into an enormous cloud of dust. Huge slabs of the bridge were blown into the air as the massive robot plowed through the heart of downtown. While AstroRobo was on its back smoking from the double impact crash, it was trying to get up while moving its head and fist. Meanwhile, Adol the Great was walking through the city towards the robot. "Much time has passed while I fantasized of this moment where you will be torn apart!" Titan-Adol said. "And now I will be the cause of it!" Inside of the cockpit, the lights flickered and sparks dripped from the ceiling but the yellow Astroranger picked up the golden Infinitum Genesis Ring and looked up. "Oh no you wont," she whispered to herself. "Come on, everybody! Let's go!" SaturnAstro put his hands out. "Wait a minute, where are we going?" "To eliminate Adol!" she replied. In the sky, the remaining skyscrapers were in view as the five Astrorangers had somersaulted overhead and out of sight. Overhead, Sonawa Mother Earth had corkscrew-twirled while flying through the sky. On the intersection of 1st and Main Streets, Titan-Adol had stepped into view as the team had all watched him come near. "I am surprised you would abandon your only means of false protection, Galaxy Task force," Adol said looking down on the team five Astrorangers and Sonawa. "It doesn't matter to me. Your deaths will make Lord Vahorra realize that despite the failure of Tortan, Ginara, Igan, Pleadia and all his countless Armiton soldiers and cyborg warriors that I will win!" SaturnAstro looked up and pointed. "You are a fool, Adol," declared the black Astroranger. "You have already lost. It's just a matter of time." "If you surrender, you just might survive," JupiterAstro added. "Hah!" Titan-Adol scoffed at the green Astroranger below. "I would rather die than face the humiliation of surrendering to the likes of you!" "You're making a big mistake, Adol," MercuryAstro replied. "The same mistake that both Ginara and Igan made today!" "Your mistake was standing in our way, white Astroranger. However, no longer will _anyone_ be in my way!" Titan-Adol swung down his black, pinwheel-topped wand as the pinwheel began to blow. The five Astroranger's were bent backwards by the strong gust of winds that caused them to wave their arms around to regain stability. Eventually they were all picked up and thrown onto their sides. "Adol!" Pleadia shouted. In the intersection, Pleadia reached up. "Adol, we have nothing left!" As he looked up at Titan-Adol, Pleadia continued, "We can't win without the others! We must accept the reality that we've failed!" "NO!" Titan-Adol's voice boomed. "I am winning because all of you aren't in my way! Lord Vahorra was a FOOL; his forces dragged a month long mission into a year long battle." Pleadia shouted back, "Vahorra is your commander because he has succeeded! If you can turn your back on him, then I can turn my back on you." "Then you may join your peers--in hell!" Titan-Adol pointed his black wand at the ground again sending big white bolts of light down into the pavement. In the intersection, magnificent explosions of fire had tossed Igan into the air before dropping again. On the pavement, Pleadia fell face first onto the ground and coughed while struggling to get up. Titan-Adol looked at them all as they struggled to stand again but noticed the young woman in the yellow uniform and smirked. "Why do you keep trying?" "Because we're going to stop you, that's why," Sonawa said. "Understand this: I am Sonawa Mother Earth and I possess the Infinitum Genesis Ring because I am sworn to protect the solar system from whoever tries to destroy it." Titan-Adol took a step forward. "And who's going to stop me, you?" Sonawa answered, "Who else is going to do it?" "Take your best shot," Titan-Adol said. "Powers of the Procyon Solar System, come forth and purge!!" His eyes began to glow and lightning had formed an electric blue aura on Titan-Adol before he brought his arms up into the sky. In the sky above him, the blueness turned dark as clouds rolled overhead. The deadly energy he'd once called to terminate Tortan had returned to join his hands in a lethal link of electrical arcs bolting downward from the lightning. "As-tro--ran-gers..." gasped Pleadia on the smoldering asphalt. JupiterAstro noticed his words. "Reflect and he will fall," Pleadia coughed. The green Astroranger looked through the black visor in his helmet's mask at Pleadia who rolled over onto his side and collapsed. Looking away, JupiterAstro looked around before suddenly looking up. "That's IT!" The green Astroranger looked at the other Astrorangers. "Guys! When Tortan fires--reflect the beam. He wont be able to survive it!" The black and white Astrorangers looked back as MercuryAstro asked, "Are you sure?" "A dying man's words seldom lie," JupiterAstro answered. VenusAstro pointed up before SaturnAstro looked to the sky. She said, "He's about ready to fire!" "I just hope this works!" SaturnAstro said. "Of course this will work," VenusAstro said. "She's my big sister." Sonawa looked at the pink Astroranger and smiled. VenusAstro gave her a thumbs up while MarsAstro held up two fingers. Standing in front of AstroRobo lodged in the gap of the freeway that it had made when crashing into it were the five Astrorangers. Lined up, they assumed their individual battle positions. Sonawa Mother Earth had walked in front of the task force holding the Infinitum Genesis Ring. The red Astroranger stepped out in front. "Let's do it!" Titan-Adol had completed the energy transfer and proceeded to point his hands at the Earth below. All ten of his boney fingers had sent strong rays of red streaming to the ground below. "CELESTIAL WEAPON POWERS COMBINE," MarsAstro shouted. "Red FireSword!" JupiterAstro pulled back his bowstring shouting, "Green ThunderBow!" "Black Scythe!" SaturnAstro announced while casting his weapon to the sky. MercuryAstro twirled his staff and yelled, "White Staff!" "Ping Boomerang!" she said tossing it into the air. The red sphere of light that shot out of MarsAstro's blade had merged with the green Arrow, the black scythe, the bolt of lightning from the staff and the boomerang becoming a rainbow colored missile. "Universal Astro Power!" Sonawa shouted while holding up the Infinitum Genesis Ring. "Reflect!!!" they all shouted. Her golden ring the shape of the symbol of infinity had flashed brilliantly. Pushing towards the Earth were ten beams of red and shooting from below was a gigantic glowing blue sphere of pure energy. Like fire works, the missle exploded into a magnificent dome of sparkling light that covered them like an umbrella. Once solid, the blue shield flashed once the ten red rays struck the surface. Shooting back up, like a check mark, the six Astrorangers on the ground watches as the comet-like beams of light returned to the towering source between the skyscrapers above. Rapidly, the beams of his own energy shot Titan-Adol and quickly, a spark broke out of his neck, another from his knee, one out of his abs and two from his shoulder followed by another burst from his ear. "No! This can't be!! I cannot die, I cannot fail! I am Adol the Great!!" Titan-Adol was soon consumed with portions of his body exploding. Eventually, cracks had begun to travel the length of his limbs, his torso and then his face. His scarf falling away to reveal a scarred and burned face, Titan-Adol had stiffly fallen backwards while exploding into a mushroom cloud of dust and fire. Sonawa Mother Earth had resisted the hot wind coming forth from the explosion. The blast was entirely white from their Astroranger's perspective, causing them to all shield their black visors from the light. Sonawa grew light headed and weary before collapsing into the grass she stood on dropping her golden ring the shape of the infinity symbol--the Infinitum Genesis Ring. Sheratan, standing in his red tank top and jogging pants, looked at Adol's dead body burn when he heard Beverly's sigh. He turned around and looked at the others. "Aw man!" He had ran towards Beverly, Lotia, in pink bike pants and a tie-end shirt had followed. In blue jeans and a black dress shirt, Nashiran had already supported Sonawa's head when the two of them arrived. In brown shorts and a white t-shirt, Messuta looked down upon her. "Is she going to be okay?" Australis, wearing a suit with a green tie nodded and smiled. "I have a feeling she's just fine." While she layed in Nashiran's hands with her eyes closed and unconscious, the leaves in the skin of Beverly's face began to sparkle before glowing. Her tiara shined before withdrawing into her black hair and her cheeks returned to their normal color. When the bright lights dimmed, Beverly Tenmei was in the uniform of a Los Angeles Police Department officer. Beverly's eyes opened as she looked from left to right. Looking up, she saw all five of them surrounding her while she looked into the sky. Lotia smiled as a tear came down her cheek. "Beverly," Australis said. "Can you hear me?" Beverly's lips parted. "Did we do it?" she softly asked. Sheratan gently nodded his head, answering yes. She tiredly smiled back at him. Saturday afternoon in Rolling Hills, California; rows of chairs sat in a field of grass outside of an estate. A woman at a Roland electric organ connected to an amplifier played music softly while an elderly man in robes stood behind in front of Amy in an ivory wedding gown and Dave in a black and white tuxedo. "Do you, Amy Leven, take this man to have and to hold, to love and to cherish for richer or poorer and in sickness or in health till death do you part?" She looked at him and smiled. "I most certainly do." He looked at Dave and said, "And do you, Dave Marcello, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part?" He looked at him seriously and then at Amy. "Yes, I do." "Then by the powers invested in me by the state of California," he spoke, "I now pronounce you man and wife." Turning to Dave he said, "You may now kiss the bride." "Thank you," Dave gratefully replied before lifting Amy's vail. He put his arms around her while she did and parted his lips to begin kissing her lips. In the witness area, Beverly looked up and smiled while congratulating their happiness with applause. Sara Bergstrom sitting next to Tom Nevison also applauded while he did not to draw unwanted attention to himself. Next to him sat Ron Michaeli who actively applauded as well being very happy for Dave. In the seat beside Ron sat William Richards. Applauding too, he nodded and smiled with pride at the kissing couple. Even Peter, the precocious young student had stood in the garden watching. When Dave stopped kissing Amy, he looked at her with a soft smile. "I love you." "I love you too," she responded. Meanwhile, other visiters were Gus, Dave's former security guard partner at the bank in Hollywood; Lori, Amy's co-worker from the talent agency; Sasha Castillo and her sister Linda the bus driver, sitting next to Beverly along with Captain Anthony Fleishman, Detectives Franklyn Mahoney, Jr. and Katherine Sanchez. After the ceremonies, people wandered around the grounds snacking on the wedding cake. Sara walked with Tom as he listened to his music being played back by the organist reading his sheet music. "I still can't believe you paid to bail me out of jail, Thomas," Sara said softly. "I don't know what I could ever do to repay your kindness." Tom stopped and looked her straight in the eyes. "Don't ever change. You deserve a person in your life who will think of your unique and virtuous qualities as a treasure. I don't want anyone to take that opportunity away from you." "Thank you, Tom," she said before hugging him tightly. William slowly walked with Beverly in the field and looked at her with a proud expression. "Tenmei, I'm proud of you. I'm also surprised; your bravery has shown me that there is hope for the human race after all." Beverly looked at him and smiled. "Thank you, Will; I can't tell you what an honor it is to have respect from people who are from an advanced civilization. I'm also glad to know the Infinitum Ring is safely kept at the SpaceBase." Will nodded. "What was it like being Sonawa?" he asked her. Beverly looked up and cocked her head to the side to ponder the question. She wanted to truly give the best impression of what it was like to be her. "It's hard to explain but it was as if everything I thought, said and did was being supported by all of the power within the planet Earth." Sanchez and Mahoney caught up with Ron who walked by himself towards Will's green van. He knew they were their and said, "Hi guys." "Hey, remember us?" Frank asked. Ron grinned. "How could I forget? What can I do for you two today?" "This is totally off the record but I just have to know. You and the others are the Astro Ranger folks, weren't you?" Frank asked. "Yup," Ron smiled and answered. "By the way, how come you didn't bother us when you figured it out?" "We couldn't hold you and we wouldn't want to either," Kathy said. "The only story in the L.A. times for three days in the row was what you guys did to save the world." Frank smiled. "Every country's leader has been thanking Galaxy Task Force Astroranger for their efforts. Sometimes there are a few more important things in life other than laws being broken." "How did you do what you did? With the big robots and everything," Kathy wondered. Ron shrugged with his hands in his pockets. "Okay, then how about this," Kathy said. "Who is that extra new Astro Ranger you got? The yellow one." "Who cares? You saw it on the front page of the L.A. times--the bad guys are gone and the good guys won," Ron said. "It's time to go back to work." He grinned and walked off. The two of them watched Ron walk away as Captain Fleishman came up to the two and asked, "So, what's his story?" "Captain, it's back to cops and robbers," Kathy smiled and said. Beverly unlocked the door to her yellow Geo Storm as Sasha had opened the passenger door. "Oh, by the way--I saw the craziest thing on the news! You know about the whole big battle that the Astroranger task force had with those aliens we keep seeing? Turns out they got rid of them all." "Oh cool!" Beverly said. "I'm glad to know they did." "Yeah, but that's not the interesting part," Sasha said. "Some woman who looked just like you was seen with the Astrorangers while they were right here in L.A. God--the irony of that, huh??" Beverly laughed. In the back of Dave's red Trans Am car was a banner that read Just Married with tin cans were tied to his rear bumper. "Bye folks!" Amy yelled out while Dave drove off. Griffith Observatory, a building of three domes showing astronomical observational equipment from the north lawn of Griffith Park was in view. On the east road, a yellow taxicab van stopped at the curb. Standing in the lawn were Dave, William, Ronald, Thomas and Amy with Aaron. Ron in brown shorts and a white t-shirt leaned over and spoke through the passenger window. "We'll be a short while so hang on a little bit." The cabbie had nodded while turning off the engine. He'd picked up his newspaper and started reading it. Meanwhile, in blue jeans and a black dress shirt, Tom held a suitcase as Beverly, in white sneakers, jeans and a yellow t-shirt looked at all of them. Her face was between a smile and crying as joy caused tears to well up in her eyes. Will, in a suit and green tie, held his suitcase and walked up to her. "Come on, Beverly; don't cry. There's nothing to be sad for." "I know," she sniffed. "It's just that I'm going to miss you guys. I already miss the house, your cars..." Will smiled and almost chuckled. She smiled too. "All of our adventures together. It scared the hell out of me, but I have to say one thing. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever have imagined that any of this was possible and that I would be apart of it." "I'll miss you too, Beverly," Amy said walking closer to her. Amy, in a white body suit, pink vest and tan stockings with black skirt and pumps, set down her suitcase. "It's wonderful to know that I've got a sister that I can believe in and that I am so very proud of." Beverly leaned over and gave Amy a long hug. "I never was very fond of the idea of another team member but you kicked ass, Beverly," Tom said. "Keep on rockin'." Beverly had started to laugh but it caused her to slightly sob, but, she managed to calm herself. "Oh God... This is so hard, I can't say goodbye." Dave looked down and then up at her again. "Beverly--you are strong. Keep on doing what you do for this city, using what you've learned during our mission together. We will be with you in what you have gained from this experience and that will always be with you as you help the helpless." Aaron Hanson looked at the five of them holding their two suit cases. "Your train to Vancouver will be leaving shortly." Ron nodded and approached the cab driver to get their luggage. "Got all the lose ends tied up, Aaron?" William asked. Ron and Tom helped the cab driver haul all of their luggage into the trunk of the Cheverolet Caprice. "The house is on the market, the vehicles are in the classified ads--bank accounts and credit cards canceled; utilities, pagers and cell phones turned off, telephone listing removed and your papers of resignation were mailed to your employers this morning," he answered. "As far as everyone is concerned, were never in L.A." "Not everyone," Beverly said. "I'll always remember you. I love you guys." Dave came close to her and gave Beverly a long hug. While Amy watched, Will, Tom and Ron had entered the three seats in the rear of the van. Beverly moved back away from Dave and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Take care of yourself, Beverly," Ron said out of the window. Beverly looked over at him, nodded and smiled. Dave took Amy by the hand as they all crawled into the Caprice before shutting the door. The driver had started the engine and Beverly took a deep breath. "Don't be a stranger, huh?" her cracking voice asked. "Keep in touch." "Goodbye, Beverly," William said. The van had drove down the roadway, away from the observatory to the exit of Griffith Park. The young Japanese woman watched the yellow Chevrolet drive away--to the Los Angeles basis and its visible skyline of highrise buildings downtown. Aaron Hanson stepped next to her and put his arm around her as they watched the five roll into the city of Los Angeles, California--United States of America... Earth.
